Are we too many people or too few?

Regarding cat ownership: As I said, the responsible individual's benefits of pet ownership outweigh the damages caused by the animals en masse. We're giving our fur-people good lives. If anyone wants to tell me I shouldn't have a cat or dog because of the environment or whatever, they can go jump.

Absolutely. Booze is a much more elastic and inclusive category.

Can we have a 'Booze' measure instead, good beer only inclusive?

" ...the guy withstood enough criticism already and is currently recovering from mental illness, at least partly caused by the often damning public response"... sorry, I may be new to the party, but what? What mental illness? And from people being mean to him for saying stuff out loud they don't like? He seems to THRIVE amid all the screeching he causes, he's actually said that he's making money hand over fist from people signing up to his Patreon so they can yell at him. Not everybody is a victim in the real world. Please.

I fully approve of and support a cheese-centric methodology to tracking human well-being, not just mere population size. A Global Beer*-And-Cheese Index (GBACI) should be instituted forthwith at the next United Nations conference on population growth. (* Good beer only. Not the swill favored by many Americans. Just saying.)

I mean no disrespect for you with my quick, curt reply sorry Aleš.

Peterson is still a shitty person, if he wants to recover from mental illness and not be affected, he can withdraw from public life can take time out and not get attention by being transphobic or whatever toxicity he's been going on about. Mental illness is not a pass from personal responsibility.

Hi @Sabine, thanks a lot for the video! Since we have a war in Europe now, it would be super interesting to get your opinion on how much damage an all-out nuclear war would do. There are some very pessimistic estimates in the literature but they all seem to come from just one research group (Alan Robock et al.), I would love to see an unbiased take on this topic! Just as a note, I felt like putting Jordan Peterson there was a bit much maybe -- in my opinion, the guy withstood enough criticism already and is currently recovering from mental illness, at least partly caused by the often damning public response. (I'm not commenting on his opinions in any way, I just think he should be allowed some room to recover.) I don't want this comment to come across as too critical though, I'm a big fan of your videos and I love the zero-bullshit style. I really appreciate your work!
