Kenny, that indeterminacy is what makes the story so great (along with the characters, the sex, the premise - I'm sure I have forgotten something). You can go in a lot of directions, and have in the past; you may go in all of them seriatum as you develop the story over time. Speaking personally, I love to see the characters develop and change over time, along with the relationships (my all-time fave was Heather/Angelica, who still graces your keyboard from time to time). Who knows, Stephen may take this as an opportunity to up his game, Juliana certainly has. Hebrides, do not despair and do not give up, Kenny is pretty good at getting his gals out of really tight spots. After all, Amanda should not have survived her UC assignment or marriage.

What I like about this couple and this story is that it really can go either way, and probably will vacillate a little in the spectrum. Donkatsu’s comments are spot on for me. In fact, I think it may go much further , with Anthony torturing (or delighting) Stephen with claims meant to diminish Stephen and push him even further down the rabbit hole.
