It's been a bumpy New Year so far, but rest assured I plan on getting things going again, I already have the next four or five pages inked and the next two (and a bit of three coloured.) I have started to try and not worry about cleaning my inks up as much, just to save time and ease myself of the stress of perfection, same with colouring, and I kind of like the results more so than the clean, but tight and rigid inks I've been doing. I do love sketches much more than finished work as a general rule... so maybe thats why.Anyhow! I am also doing my best to get some (many) portfolio pieces finished so I can start reaching out to illustration reps with a strong portfolio to show. Something which I have been unable to accomplish thus far...
ALSO I AM GOING TO SCOTLAND THIS YEAR!!! AHHH!!

Thanks! Ya it was hard at first, but I really like it. it's a bit trickier when it comes to colours (i use the fill bucket) but that's alright! Yes I'm so excited!! My friend got a job and is moving there! So I'm going to hit up England for a bit, then going up to Scotland!!

I think the step toward sketchiness turned out great! I've had to cut a lot of corners for some pages and most of the time no one notices (Or sometimes they're like, "This is your best art ever!" XD ) It's worth it for how much time it saves. Whaa Scotland?? I want to go! That's so exciting! :D
