Serendipitously, I just played it last night with my fiancee who doesn’t even play video games much. Each scene is pulsing with symbolism, and it is strangely reminiscent of Jacob’s Ladder in examining what enlightenment and apotheosis means. I’m also generally skeptical of people who say, with regard to a piece of art, that there is “not much more to say” — while the art might be the same, the person examining it (not to say really sharp critics like Mike and Casen) bring a lot to bear in talking about it too. A cursory look at any one of their podcast episodes on these all-time top-level games (for example Silent Hill 2 and FFX, which have been analyzed extensively) would already act as a refutation on that point. Granted, I think Journey would be one or two episodes max. But I think what’s there would still be extremely thought provoking anyway.

Welp, to be honest there is not much more to say about Journey besides what already is on YouTube. It's a nice alegorical "game", but personally - I don't believe it would guarantee more than one, short episode.
