I was torn between 9 (I've played 7, 8 and 10) and 12 (because of FFT and VS) but it seems 6 will win the day

Nooooooooo 12 was so close! Never played VI though so maybe I should play along for this one!
I picked FFXII as my choice. May be just me, but I feel all I ever hear about 12 is either negative or glossing over. Personally, 12 is my second favorite FF to... FFVI. FFVI is on my Top 15 Games of All Time, so I'm definitely not losing out if 6 wins. Perhaps Mike and Casen will talk about 12 some other time. I'd love that - I have a feeling they'd also have much to say about another Matsuno story!!!
I'm pleasantly surprised to see FFXII get more votes than IX! But it looks like VI is going to win this poll. Each of those FFs are welcome in my book (I loved XV) and the upcoming podcast is going to be incredible :)

I picked Final Fantasy VI just because I recently played through Final Fantasy IX, but I'd love to see you guys cover Final Fantasy IX. Casen is gonna have a blast analysis IX there is so much jungian psychology in their it's insane.
Villain-wise, no character in media will ever top Emet-Selch of FF14 for me. Still, I'd love an in-depth analysis of FF15's villain if possible.

Man, it's almost worth buying it on steam and playing. Then again, nostalgia, got me geeking to my childhood on this one. Kefka was probably the best villain in all FF series. You never saw him coming, pure evil.

6 for sure. I believe 6 had the best villain in the history of the franchise.
12 and 9 are underappreciated.
