I'm pretty close to even on that one. On one hand - I like feet-first for allowing the prey to grab tat the predator's lips, speak & generally 'interact' for longer. But on the other hand - prey sliding down headfirst has a certain feeling of helplessly tumbling forward that's also intense and very appealing. x3

I'd say "feet first", if only because it allows the prey to try and fight a last time around the uvula and maybe to get a dramatic last glimpse of the sky past the slowly closing lips, or even witness the entry of the next morsel . Also less disorientation gives you more a feel of where you are and going i think ;-)

I have a slight preference for head first, but only slight. I have many favorites that are also feet first. Going down the esophagus, though, definitely prefer head first. Going down upside down has a level of vulnerability to it that I like.

To be fair, they can lock eyes before going past the lips. But there is something i can't describe going feet first and locking eyes AS they are devouring

Feet first. Head first is the most sensible thing for the pred to do but I think feet first allows for more dread to build. It also displays more of the power of the pred because the prey has more opportunity to fight.

Hard to say. Head first means coming face to face with the pred's uvula, but feet first makes it more likely to grab onto it. I guess I'll go with feet first.

Its a matter of perspective in my opinion. I wish I could say both. When it comes to 1st person pov art, its always good to actually SEE who is eating you. And I find it underrated that If you go in feet first, (for the boob lovers) you can see a female preds boobs just a little closer before she swallows you. Think of it as one last good look before you go on your way to being digested by her, and seeing her mouth close is pretty cool too. And when you're swallowed you can imagine it like a water slide before reaching your destination on a soft but wet surface (and if you look up the whole way through, you get an interesting and rare sight of the stomach closing). but if you go in head first you get to see the process happening as you see the stomach become unveiled to you and you're plopped in. Both has their merits and their own strange beauty to it. Now with 3rd person, you get to see the reaction of the prey being swallowed if they go in feet first, but the kicking at the lips if they go in head first is always strangely amusing. But going in feet first almost always what gives us the iconic uvula grab, which in my opinion, I like to see the prey characters have some fight in them it makes both an escape (or vore from pred) a bit more rewarding on both sides because its like they had to work for it. (You can get this from head first too. But I think a feet first one is more impressive because it's like a quick reaction because they have a split second to react there before the throat takes them) Tl:dr Both, both is good. and Sorry for the long unnecessary rambling 😅

So for me it depends? if I'm prey, I wanna be headfirst because the maw and seeing the throat are big bits for me. But if I'm observing, then feet first so they prey can see what's going on and I can see them.
