The Red Room v. 0.3a has Released for Patrons!

The update for The Red Room is finally here, let's not make this wait any more longer.
It's quite small, don't expect much. Due to pandemic induced closed borders and my working PC being in another country — I've lost access to almost every file of this update right in the middle of a development. That's why I put my savings in another PC and was redoing almost every scene of this new update from the ground up which hadn't left me with enough time to add everything I wanted.
The good thing that come out of that situation — is that it teached me that I can develop this game faster, with smaller updates coming out on faster rate. What this means is that from now on I'm planning on releasing updates much faster than before, once in two months, but with smaller amount of content. And no more pushing of deadlines for more than a few weeks. It's better to release something you already have than to hold on to it. It really makes the development go slower.
13 days from the release of this post, on the public release date, which will make it a 28 of July I will release a 0.3b. It will add a few things here and there that I didn't have enough time to work on and fix everything I wasn't able to.
September 15th is the planned release date of 0.4.

About the update:
- It still doesn't have a save complatibility with previous updates. I hope to somehow address it in the future.
- It contains around 80 new images.
- For now you still can't work for money, so if you didn't get enough in Intro — you can't buy a swimsuit.
- There are still few probliems I haven't been able to fix or polish — so I'm going to make a patch on public release, that will adress all the problems I know or will know after your bug reports. Also I will add a little bit content to it (few new images here and there).
- Patreon credits will also be added on the public release, sorry for the inconvenience.

This is a patreon-friendly version with some content cut, please don't download any patch from sites like Lewd Patcher that may inject unfriendly content into the game.

Just wanted to say I did finally get it to work, and it is fantastic work indeed :) Love what you're doing with these characters and I love the changes to the dialogue, and with the new images you just dropped today, I can't wait to see this game updated again! :)

My mistake for not making it explicitly clear that that particular line of dialog was also included in my criticism. I will remember to get granular in my next post.

This piece of dialogue was made in 2018 so it wasn't made to be relevant or anything else. Also it wasn't a namecalling but a relevant character dialogue right after n-word being dropped which if you ask me is much worse but you don't ask me to get rid of it too.

If I may, a bit of constructive criticism. Please retool the dialog in the bar. I get that the political name calling is relevant to the day, but it made me roll my eyes and click quickly through to the point where you got home, absent mindedly clicking choices just to roll the story forward. I missed a lot of content due to the inclusion of the political landscape into the game.
