A mermaid? No, that's a Silkie! Oh wait, Wikipedia says that's a chicken. Now wait a minute, I've seen a movie or two (The Secret of Roan Inish, a dang good movie btw) about gals who turn into seals, or something like them. Ah, that's a Selkie! Actually, what is depicted is a seal. Oh, now you've got me confused.
