Partners In Trance - Girls Reactions to reading the logs
🕑 Added 2021-12-02 23:00:03 +0000 UTCWhenever I post a log I always make sure to let the people in the log read over it and approve it, as such I occasionally get some funny reactions to things, in this case sending the logs to Sleepygirl and Ivy really yielded some interesting reactions to the logs, it had been a few weeks if not a few months between them being a part of that little experiment and them reading the log. Do Enjoy!
------------------
Log: [Also note they had been hypnotized for the last hour or so so they were both a bit suggestible still.]
Sg: as if we wouldn't have been, even if we weren't previously hypnotized that night? :oP
Ivy: My thoughts exactly!
Me: I may have you two just a wee bit conditioned to just drop for me. =c)
SG: personally speaking, my brain is jello
Ivy: “The Dark Side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural.”
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno “I was wondering…”
Ivy: You were plotting not wondering
SG: He’s ALWAYS plotting
Me: You’re both right.
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno “I was wondering, if you two might like to do a little experiment?”
SG: Famous last words
------------------
Log: Sleepygirl “you have my interest”
SG: in which i am a glutton for punishment...or in this case, trance
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno “well I think there was the time in SL [Second Life], then there was this trance, was there one last week where you both were involved? I think it was the ummm... the tied to doll induction?”
SG: why do i feel like you already knew the answer to that question
Me: I know the answers to all the questions, I was purposely asking you two questions that I knew the answer would be 'Yes'.
SG: hence the whole idea of the yes string
------------------
Log: Hypnotist’s Note: What I'm doing here is called a ‘Yes string’, basically I am asking them a series of things that I know the answer will be ‘Yes’ too.
SG: thank you for confirming my suspicions :oP although i never knew there was a proper name for that
ME: there is but honestly I'm not sure if 'Yes string' is the actual official name or not, but it's close enough.
------------------
Log: Hypnotists note “ Basically I'm already programming them, and they don’t realize it.“
SG: ....thanks for pushing my buttons already…
Me: You're welcome
------------------
Log: but the two of you have known me... for several years
Sg: several, sure we'll go with that…
[Sleepygirl and I have known one another for probably 20 years at this point]
[Sleepygirl: yes that's right viewing audience, 20 years of having my mind continuously messed with by him...it's no wonder i'm so agreeable all the time :oP]
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno “we've both listened to one another and helped one another through different hard times and helped explore different things about ourselves”
Ivy: starts to blush
Sg: Been there :op
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno “Does that sound correct to the two of you?”
Sg: just over here talking out loud to myself and going 'that does seem about right...'
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno: as such you would know the kind of person that I am.
Ivy: the jury is still out on that one :D
SG: He has his moments, hehehe :oP
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno “These are all true for both of you, aren't they?”
SG: i'm already answering yes to all of these questions again in my head, why do i feel like that will end badly for me by the end of the log?
Me: We kind of thought this might be the case =cP
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno “you two have a connection, in these ways. don't you agree?”
SG: I mean technically you are right...
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno: you do agree to this experiment don't you?
Ivy: By this point it is a foregone conclusion!
Me: By this point you were already well into the experiment.
------------------
Log: SleepyHypno: but I do like that you are both thinking the same way now
that's another kind of connection
SG: were you leading us in that direction (of thinking the same) or was that just how our brains started to operate from everything else happening?
Me: Nope, since I wanted you to be disconnected from the fact that you were being hypnotized, but be aware that the other girl WAS being hypnotized, I needed you to have a subconscious connection that what happened to her happened to you. the connection was absolutely the point.
Sg: so we just kind of made ourselves more scrambled by doing that
Me: Yup, sneaky lil bastard ain't I =cP
SG: you are a very sneaky bastard, speaking from experience :oP
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno: now if I know the two of you.. .and I do...
SG: Confident, aren't we
Me: Confidence comes from success.
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno “both of you just thought to yourself "oh I hate volunteering!"
at the same time you just went "but I love to be the subject of hypnosis"
all while going "but I don't want to volunteer if my partner wants to volunteer"”
SG: i don't know what you're talking about :oP
Ivy: ......I retract my previous comment :D
------------------
Log: SleepyHypno "but what if they don't want to volunteer I should do it so they don't have too"
Ivy: Philanthropy is my middle name
SG: That's an interesting middle name to have :oP
Ivy: I know, I just have people call me Phil
SG: hehehe, much more convenient that way :D
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno: which is another connection that you have. you can both see that I was completely right about you with everything I just said, can't you?
[Hypnotist’s Note: Rather bluntly solidifying that ‘expert status’]
SG: you? blunt? Noooooo
Me: I was trying to be subtle with this whole thing but even at the time i was like "yeah that was about as subtle as a brick..."
------------------
Log: Ivy: mumbles yeah
Ivy: I mumbled "yeah" just now, IRL, before I got to this comment
SG: hehehe yeah I kind of did the same thing when I got to this part
Me: It's good to see that your partner and your partner's partner are still more of less of one mind now, isn't it?
Sg: it is good to see that, i agree
Ivy: I am on vacation, don't make me think.
------------------
Log: Ivy “volunteer”
Ivy: Lightning typing speed for the win
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno: the subject is basically observing he observer, while the observer is also the subject in her own way.
Ivy: Voltaire he is not...but he's certainly more entertaining!
[Editing Sleepyhypno: Smartass!]
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno: that the subject is already hypnotized.but they don't realize it.
Ivy: That is a crazy feeling
Sg: you get used to it after a while :oP
------------------
Log: Hypnotist’s Note: clearly I was tired as that was the most mangled sentence I think I’ve ever written
Ivy: The important info got through just fine
SG: i speak fluent Sleepyhypno, also, so that helps
------------------
Log: and as you observe your partner, you realize they are deeply hypnotized, don't you?
SG: the lack of response up to this point is because i think i was getting dazed from reading this again
------------------
Log: In fact they are so deeply hypnotized. that you realize that the partner has forgotten their own name.
SG: i still can't believe you got me to forget that...
Me: I know =c)
SG: oh stop gloating, it was one time in how many years :oP heheheh
Me: it was attempt 1 of 1.
SG: that means nothing :oP
Me: uh huh.
------------------
Log: you realize that the partner has forgotten their own name.
Ivy: That was, hands down, the most difficult thing I've ever had to forget
------------------
Log: Ivy “it feels like it is on the tip of my tongue”
Ivy : It really did!
------------------
Log: Ivy “...that feels borderline rude”
Ivy: Even while hypnotized, I'm ruled by politeness :D
------------------
Log: Sleepygirl “schrodinger's name”
Ivy: Patent Pending
------------------
Log: Hypnotist’s Note: And now thanks to that clever wording they have both just admitted, without realizing it that they themselves are hypnotized.
Sg: no, we admitted that our partner's partner was hypnotized :oP
Me: Some suggestions die REALLY hard ladies and gentlemen.
Sg: what, im just clarifying :cP
------------------
Log: Ivy “Nod”
Ivy: Words were getting hard by this point
SG: nods (ironically) we're lucky we weren't drooling on ourselves by this point
Me: I'm sure the patrons would love that image =cP
SG: i'm sure they would, but they'll have to use their imaginations :oP
Ivy: Funny enough, imagination is what got me into this predicament in the first place
SG: you and me both
------------------
Log: Hypnotist’s Note: and confirmed that they don’t realize they are hypnotized. God, I had fun with this =cP
Sg: i never would have guessed :oP
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno “as confusing as this sounds it makes sense now, and you agree don't you?”
Sg: i'm not sure how this was confusing yet made sense, but here we are
------------------
Log: Hypnotic wording like “you agree don’t you?” coupled with that ‘Yes string’ can have a very powerful effect on a subjec
Ivy: The path of low resistance, it's just easier to say yes, even to the cheese moon
Sg: i don't think we had any resistance by that point
------------------
Log: Ivy “no, at least I can't think of one”
Ivy: We're lucky I can still form a sentence at this point
------------------
Log: Ivy “relax around new people”
Ivy: I'm kind of proud of having thought that suggestion up
Sg: i'm horrible at coming up with suggestions, myself, so kudos to you :oP
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno: you are very much connected to your partner, aren't you?
SG: it certainly seems that way from the conversation...
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno “as confusing as this sounds it makes sense to you now doesn't it.”
Ivy: throws hands up does sense even matter anyomore!??
SG: in this trance, no it does not
Me: Imagine having to be the one to come up with this.
------------------
Log: IVy (on how she forgot SG’s name) to be fair, we've only said them to each other once
Ivy: aaaaand my brain is back!
------------------
Log: Ivy 3:41 AM
Seems like a good solution to that issue....
Sleepyhypno 3:41 AM
well go on then
Ivy 3:41 AM
you first
Sleepygirl 3:41 AM
oh no that's ok, you first
(when asked to tell the other person their own name)
Ivy: Roundabout!
SG: it's like we were playing name chicken :oP
------------------
Log: ivy (on being hypnotized to forget SG’s name) That would be a better outcome than her forgetting it outright
Ivy: facepalm I'm such a dork
SG: join the club :oP
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno: do you want me to tell you your partner's name... or do you want me to tell your partner your name
SG: you're lucky we didnt forget our names again while re-reading this
Me: how do you know you didn't?
Sg: because i can remember my name right now?
Me: can you? can you really?
Sg: yes! I can! :oP
Me: Prove that you haven't forgotten the name of your partner's partner now?
SG: umm....
Me: Good girl, (I'll fix that in private chat =cP)
[Sleepygirl: i don't remember what you fixed at this point…]
[That would be… your name.]
------------------
Log: Ivy: I remember being hypnotized, my partner was as well, each was made to forget not only our partner's name but our own along with the belief that it was only our partner that was hypnotized and not us
Ivy: I should get a job at Sparknotes with these kind of summary skills!
------------------
Log: Sg (in regards to finally remembering her own name) “ ME TOO!
Ivy: You better!!
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno (in regards to making them forget their names) but yeah, that seemed to work wonders on both of you.
SG: ya think?!?
------------------
Log: Ivy: With the plus that this whole thing may hold the record for most times "partner" has been used in a single sitting
Sg: that probably was some kind of record, honestly :oP
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno: you two were also 'under' for nearly an hour and a half
Ivy: It certainly didn't feel that long
SG: it never does :oP
------------------
Log: Ivy “*covers your mouth" wow, your deviousness is darn right insatiable., hahahah”
Sg: i don't know if you meant his or mine but either way you're right :oP
Ivy: Frankly, I don't recall but it's interchangeable between the two of you!
Sg: I do have my moments :oP
------------------
Log: Sleepy Hypno: “SLEEP
[Several triggers in both girls were used here, both with their names and words ‘Partner’ and ‘Partner’s partner’ substituted for them]”
Sg: most convoluted sleep triggers ever?
Me: doubtful, some people can get really weird with this stuff.
[Sleepygirl (in editing in response to “SLEEP”) damn it stop doing that, i see sleep in capital letters and i go at least a LITTLE bit fuzzy!]
------------------
Log: Ivy “ah, yes, I've been thinking about that all day, in an attempt to make my thoughts come out coherently and all I've got is "it was interesting" "I knew it sounded familiar". “
SG: i'm glad i'm not the only one who has those thoughts after being knocked senseless :oP
------------------
Log: Ivy(talking about my method of making her forget) you told me to picture a box, a very nice, very detailed box, and put my memories in there, knowing that, should I need them, they would be safe.
SG: that does in fact sound familiar :oP
------------------
Log: I pictured lowering one arm which let a little opening in the wall open and my name came out....after a while I did the same with Sleepygirl's and then I let the wall crumble....
Ivy: ....and the award for most convoluted explanation of anything EVER goes to...points at self
SG: hands you an award!
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno: I was honestly not sure how you would handle forgetting your name. I was very pleased that it worked out on you =c)
SG: it's entertaining to see a different perspective on forgetting things, from my end :oP
------------------
Log: Ivy: I already knew Sleepy Girl's name was Sleepygirl,
SG: I already knew Sleepy Girl's name was Sleepygirl,
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno: that's fine, making a person forget their name is something i've never done before (never saw the point)
SG: until now apparently :oP
Me: And it ended up being very fun for both your partner and your partner's partner didn't it?
SG: it would definitely seem that way :o)
------------------
Log: Ivy: True, my brain does like to think, but I know I can also think emotionally...I'm a weird paradox (implying paradoxes are normal??? *shrug*).
Ivy: And there's fully awake me, in a nutshell.
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno “there is absolutely no wrong way to respond when you are hypnotized, everything you do gives me more info on how your feeling”
Ivy: This should be more well known than it is
Me: I could go on a rant about the general skill level of most hypnotists being far below what it should be but I'll spare you that rant for later.
------------------
Log: Hypnotist’s Note: This is Sleepygirl’s response, we had started talking in Google Hangout’s but when the topic came up I asked her to move to discord because it is easier to copy and paste the log from discord
SG: always the inconvenience :oP
Me: Google is a pain in the ass, Discord ain't great either but it works better.
------------------
Log: Sleepygirl: so yeah all in all it was very interesting and odd (in a good way), especially since there was another person involved :cP
SG: Sums up the night!
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno: Oh it was helpful =c)
SG: always good to know, because i never know if my stream of consciousness info dumps are actually helpful to anyone outside of my head
Me: to someone that knows how to read those streams of consciousness they are a gold mine
SG: i'm keeping that in mind for the future...
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno : When did you realize you were hypnotized? When you remembered your name?
Sleepygirl: yeah I don't think I really realized it until that point, until then it just...never occurred to me, I was too focused on her [meaning ivy]
Ivy: Grin
SG: Which of course, was the point :oP
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno: fun to watch wasn't it =cp [Meaning Ivy being hypnotized]
Sleepygirl heheh yes it definitely was :cP
Ivy: Now I’m blushing
Sg: hehehe but it was fun!
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno: and your partner's partner, is she awake or hypnotzed?
Ivy: aaaahhhh!
SG: AGAIN WITH THE CONFUSION!
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno: That's good, you two seem to be on the same page once again, both sharing in everything that is happening and going to happen. that wonderful little experiment playing so nicely, with that image of your partner just blanking out in front of you as she just sinks into the words little by little. you enjoyed seeing your partner blank out, didn't you?
SG: i...plead the fifth…
Me: (That means yes for those playing the home game)
Sg: (i don't know what he's talking about)
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno: It's so fun to realize that two are connected and as one slps away the other goes with. don't you think?
Sg: i mean...it was pretty fun, though
------------------
Log: Ivy (in response to the line said by me directly above): very fun
Ivy: Oh oh, my own deviousness is showing
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno: but your partner herself is unaware that she is hypnotized, isn't that right?
SG: button. pushing.
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno (talking about the next script the three of us were going ot work on) and you know in a moment we are going to chloroform your partner, and your partner's partner... how do you think you'll feel watching that unfold?
Ivy *shivers*
SG: Attempts not to squirm
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno: and once your partner... and your partner's partner have been deeply sedated with chloroform, they are going to be brainwashed... deeply and completely.
How does that idea make you feel?
Ivy *moan*
Ivy: Ditto, past me, ditto
SG: *points* what she said
[Sleepygirl: ditto to the ditto…]
------------------
Log: Sleepyhypno: you both like the idea of brainwashing. don't you now lab partners?
Sg: clearly...very much...*still trying not to squirm*
------------------
Log: Sleepygirl: have them strapped to a chair, wearing a pair of headphones that fills their ears with binaural beats, and a pair of glasses that flash lights and subliminal messages into their eyes
Ivy: Standing over her, looking deep into her eyes, speaking in a low, soft tone, about letting your words help them relax, to go deeper, maybe stroking their hand, gently
Ivy: .....anyone else getting ssssssleepyyyyyy???
SG: DON'T ENCOURAGE HIM
------------------
Log: [Hypnotist’s Note: I used the methods above in the actual script that we created together.] (in regards to their responses above)
Ivy: YEAH, YOU DID!!
Sg: as if that would ever be in doubt
Me: Why would I come up with a method and then not use it for the exact thing i was coming up with it for?
SG: you've done stranger things?
[Well, she’s not wrong.]
[Sleepygirl: i know i'm not :oP]
------------------
Log: Sleepygirl: she seems to be doing a pretty good job of hiding it :cP (in regards to Ivy not realizing that she is hypnotized currently)
Ivy: Story of my life
SG: hey mine too!
