Progress Report Week 20
🕑 Added 2025-05-18 12:30:21 +0000 UTCSweet Affection Update 0.11.4
Sarah and Shannon their content was already finished but in the past week I also managed to create all their diary pages.
All the art for Maya her planned events is also completely finished.
With a little bit over 900 images and 9 animations, there is going to be plenty of new content for her.
I'm about 40% done with writing all those events and am still on track to finish everything this Thursday.
Giving me enough time to work on her diary pages in the week after that.
Just like with Hazel and Eve, I'm so happy that I'm working on these characters again.
It's been far too long without any new Maya content and I'm so glad to update her story.
I'm going to set the release date for this update at May 31st. (Tier 3+)
Next week, I probably won't be able to include the change-log in the progress report.
Diary pages won't be finished by then so I will include the change-log in the update post itself. :)
This Wednesday, I'll also be posting a new preview
Sweet Affection Update 0.11.5
Next month, I'm still doubting a little bit on what I'm going to do.
Either I'm going to create a big Sarah & Shannon update, or a update with less Sarah & Shannon + Kelly content.
I want to push on with Sarah & Shannon so I can also add Suzie into the evening + weekend events quicker.
But, I also love working on the side-character, so...
I might make a poll and leaving the choice with you guys later this week. :)
A.N.R
I hope that everyone enjoyed the first preview.
I'm aiming to send a new preview every 2 weeks until 0.1 release.
I'm still making good progress with the new content.
Right now my focus is just to create all the art for the events.
Which takes the majority of time.
Once I finished all the planned art for them, I will be able to announce a release window.
However, don't expect that until late summer / early fall.
Right now, I'm probably about 2.5% done with the art... so still plenty of work to do.
It is slowly getting easier though.
I'm getting more and more comfortable with Honey Select 2 and what took me 6 hours, 2 months ago now takes me about 2 hours.
Once I'm getting as comfortable with Honey Select 2 as I am with Honey Select 1, I should be able to make good progress.
The only issues I've been having is that I am noticing that my computer hardware is sometimes struggling a little bit to keep up with Honey Select 2.
So upgrading my equipment will be a must, this year.
Especially when it comes to implementing interactive animations.
Nothing that prevents me from working on A.N.R right now though, so no issue there.
For now though, I'm going to end this post and get back to work.
I wish everyone a great remainder of their weekend and I'll see you soon!
