Progress Report Week 18
🕑 Added 2024-05-05 13:46:49 +0000 UTCFirst I'd like to say that Build 0.10.6 will be made available for Tier 2 about 30 hours from now
Sweet Affection 0.10.7
I'm happy to say that I'm still very much on schedule regarding the 0.10.7 build.
I managed to finish all the art for Laura's planned content on Wednesday and started working on all the art for the planned Sarah & Shannon events.
I'm hoping to be done with that by Wednesday.
The 17 days after that will be packed full with writing.
- Writing all of Laura her content
- Writing all of Laura her Diary pages + new texts
- Writing all of Sarah & Shannon her content.
Meaning, it's going to be quite busy in the coming weeks.
My goal for now is to start beta testing around the 27th.
However, that depends on how well the coding will go around that time.
I can say for certain though that an early release is very unlikely, this month.
What I can also say is that it wouldn't surprise me if this update is going to surpass the 2.000 images again.
Definitely a lot of content for everyone to enjoy.
Poll
The poll that I keep mentioning, I'm going to push that back, once again.
Simply because I'm so swamped with work.
However, I am going to say a little bit about what it's about.
Lately(Or better said, the past 2 years.) I've been thinking more and more about how to expand Naughty Attic Gaming.
Project X is a part of that but during months like this, it's clear that I don't have a lot of time to work on it unless everything goes 100% smooth. (which it rarely does.)
I'm still working on it as much as possible, but not as much as I'd like to.
And because sacrificing any development time of Sweet Affection is no option for me, I am trying to look into other ways to earn money, to expand Naughty Attic Gaming.
Money that I will use to upgrade my hardware & hire someone to help me out.
(Especially that last one would be of great help.)
I have been thinking about multiple avenues, some of which are recommended by fans and my team.
- Writing short stories and selling them on the internet.
- Creating short comics with a limited amount of images.
- Stream once a week on streaming platforms (Playing a game, talking about work, etc.)
My goal for 2024, apart from releasing Project X is simply hiring someone to help out.
Help that wouldn't be with Sweet Affection, because I don't think I could ever release control of any part of that after all these years.
But help with the second project. This could be with writing or art.
Anyway, before I do any of that I'd like to hear everyone's opinion on the matter.
And if you perhaps have another good idea that could help out, please let them know. :)
For now, I'm going to end this post and get back to work.
I wish everyone a great remainder of the weekend.
And I'll be back this Wednesday with the first sneak peek.
Thank you to everyone who is supporting us.
