To answer your question re: costs in HI, the cost of living is significantly higher there than in most other states. For instance, groceries are roughly double the cost of what you would find in the continental US ($6 for a loaf of bread in hawaii vs $2-3 in other states).

The realization i had when i literally stayed at this exact place for a school trip just a few months before they traveled to Hawaii. I could have SEEN them filming BV2 dammit😭

So excited for this season! They have a much better budget compared to season 1 so the boys get to have a lot more fun. Also hoping for the best for Hawaii. Just donated $10 for the Maui Humane Society!

Thank you so much for donating and for spreading awareness, it means a lot because I’m from Hawaii. A lot of people visit and talk about how they love Hawaii but don’t think about the Native Hawaiians or locals living there. It would be ideal if all the celebrities/millionaires provided support regardless of whether they own land on Maui or on other islands but if they cared about the locals they wouldn’t be buying our land and raising housing prices so 🤷🏻‍♀️ It’s unfortunate that we need to ask for donations from people who have significantly less than them, but if anyone has the means to help, it’s really really appreciated. We still don’t know how many lives were lost, and there are so many people with absolutely nothing. This isn’t really aimed towards you Kaia, but rather to anyone who may not know what’s going on. Again, I appreciate you and your donation so much Kaia, and I’m reminded of how much of an awesome person you are ❤️
