TESTING A NEW WAY OF DOING THINGS?
🕑 Added 2021-07-24 09:37:26 +0000 UTCHey guys!
This one is gonna be a bit of a long one but it's important so bear with me!
So, for a little while now but especially over my mini break that I took this week, I've been thinking about the schedule that I have and wondering whether it's actually the best thing for this channel and for me/my work flow.
I've been going back and forth on whether or not it would be better to switch things up and rather than have days assigned to different groups/artists, I instead have a select 2-4 shows/series' etc. that I focus on at a time.
There are many reasons why I've been debating this but the main one is simply that, I've noticed how difficult it is to actually stick to that schedule when there are times that I have to take breaks and days off here and there and I end up missing chunks out of the schedule. And that's not the end of the world I know, but 1. What's the point of having a schedule if I can barely stick to it? and 2. It feels like poop every time I can't stick to it and that's uh not fun. Like I said, there are other reasons but this is the big one!
SO I've been thinking about this a lot and... I can't come to a decision. And I could simply ask your guys' opinion now BUT how can any of us really form an opinion when we haven't experienced the alternative?
Which brings me to this poll. We're gonna be running a test on this channel for the next month or two.
Below, in the poll options, are all of the current things that I'm watching as part of my schedule. My plan, is for you guys to vote amongst yourselves for which ones you want to see me focus on for the next month or so. Depending on the results of the vote, the top two or three (plus one or two extras of my own choosing) will be what I primarily watch during this time.
There won't be any set days for these things, my aim will simply be to watch AT LEAST one a week. This will obviously allow me to get through shows/series' much quicker and if I decide to continue this format, there will be polls each time one ends for you guys to choose the next thing.
A quick couple notes regarding the "winning top two or three" from this poll:
- If Produce 101 & Youth With You 2 end up being the top two in the votes, I will only choose the winning one and the third highest voted simply because of the length of the episodes.
- Also, in a similar vein, it'll be two or three depending on the length of the shows/series' chosen. For example, if the top three are all 20-40 minute long things, then I'll choose the top three, whereas if the top two are both an hour+ long then it'll just be those two.
- The extras that I choose to do will be ones that I specifically really want to watch and ones that allow for the groups that don't typically get lots of votes to still have their moment to shine
Another note is that I will still be maintaining the Variety Tuesday polls regardless of what the results are here. That's kind of a separate entity!
I hope this all makes sense and you understand why I'm trying it. As said, this is just a test, we'll see how things go for the next month or two and if it doesn't work as well then we'll go back to the schedule.
As always with this channel, everything is a bit of an experiment and I'm constantly having to try out new things to make sure I'm doing what's best for my own ability to work well and also put out content that you all are gonna enjoy.
It should also be noted that, as is the case with the schedule now, this obviously won't be the only content that I put out on Patreon. There's still gonna be albums and live stages and other little series'. And this is all including the groups that are in the schedule (for example, I'm still gonna be doing Gfriend and Monsta X albums every so often). This is just gonna be the standard stuff that happens every week :)
Okay, if you read all that, thank you so much. Feel free to let me know your thoughts in the comments but like... don't be rude about it if you don't like it. This is just an experiment lmao.
In the meantime, happy voting!

She's already started TEPL. The last episode she watched I think was ep6 the drama and mv parody ep but it's been 6 or 7 months ago :((

Anything twice content is a big yes for me. But it is your choice. The Elegant Private Life is a good choice since it is 4 months after their debut and their 1st reality show as twice members and also it is their life in their dorm. You will see how twice sneakily ordering food despite they have a cctv camera.

You defiantly need to finish monsta x ray. Of course I’m down for whatever you feel comfortable with. It’s about you and what you want to react to and how you want to do it :) but the next two seasons are soooo good. And you would enjoy them.
Jessica
I agree. Season 2 and three are fantastic. And think she would defiantly enjoy those seasons specially certain episodes 😂

Well I'm always ready for twice content but do what makes you happy :)

Glad to hear you're doing better! I always say, watch what you enjoy watching! I personally am really excited for Monsta X Ray bc it's my favorite idol variety show (seasons 2 and 3 are SUPERIOR) and not many people react to it :(( so i love your MX reactions!

Just react to what you really want to watch first. I understand watching long videos and clips is a tough job and it makes you tired of doing it quickly.

It's good to know that you are feeling better, do as your pleasure, at least I personally, begin to enjoy all the content of your channel, all that you wanna do, i'm sure, we like, it's in your thoughts if you like or not one of other show, i have preference for YWY and Produce 101 and also the versions of China and Japan as well, but at least, you must be happy with the content you want to stream and share with us. Thumbs Up!! P.S one last thing, and sorry for the speech, are you planning to do something special for the comeback of Dreamcatcher on next Friday?, Thank you
