yup got the same problem .and i tried to resolve it thru ts5edit but no dice , someone a hint on how to fix that ????
I suggest you check out overall compatibility through Tes5Edit/SSEEdit. It must be something to do with navigation mesh conflicts.
The main quests start at each certain location. All the details are described in the pdf. Please make sure you meet all the conditions.

Hello Baka, i downloaded BFF for the first time. I keep getting messages that a emergency message is on the notice board. If i walk up to one, its says that the notice board is empty. I can trigger via additemmenu certain rescue slave quests. But how do i start the "main" quest. I just installed some of your follower mods inside the pack. but i dont know where to start. Been in Drunken Huntsman for ages but cant figure out how to start
