I would greatly appreciate that

Thanks! I owe it all to my crippling perfectionism uwu

A basic breakdown: 1. Shade around the iris & sclera; darker shadow on top, lighter shadow on bottom. 2. Slightly blur the bottom edges of the pupil. 3. Highlight the bottom middle section of the iris with an airbrush. 4. Use a thin hard brush to go back over the bottom middle of the iris with bright dashes stretching from under the pupil to the edges of the iris. 5. Use lasso tool to follow the top portion of the iris and make the bottom of the selection jagged. This will be the reflection. Shape/brightness of the reflection depends on the scene, but this is just a general explanation. 6. Fill selection with bright color and gently fade out the bottom with an airbrush eraser. 7. Erase with hard pen any wonky/undesirable bits of the reflection. 8. Sometimes, depending again on the scene, repeat reflection process on the sclera, but on a lower opacity. Maybe someday I'll start doing actual tutorial videos on this type of stuff, since typing it all out makes it sound a bit more complex than it really is lol

This feels both really pretty and very natural, even with Sombracat. Eyes are looking wonderful, too; you've always done such beautiful work with eyes but I'm glad you're always striving to improve. It's a big part of what makes you such an impressive artist.

What is your technique?

I won't lie, when I first read this still being half asleep, I immediately thought your new eyes rendering technique was going to be that Among Us meme... but I'm glad it is an *actual* new technique. It looks good 👍
