A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)
Hunter is very affectionate once he's comfortable with someone - either with a friend or romantic partner. Casual touches are typical for him.
B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)
Hunter is a good friend... Sort of. He is kind. He is caring. He loves his friends. He will do almost anything for his friends.
But. He also doesn't stand up to his friends when he should. If they say or do something that makes him uncomfortable, he ignores it. If his friend needs him to press them in order to get them to unburden themself, he won't.
He is too focused on being a positive person and uplifting people that he ignores anything uncomfortable.
C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)
Hunter likes to cuddle but overheats if the snuggles go on too long. He tends to switch from cuddling to having his partner lean against him so that the body heat is less trapped.
D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)
Hunter is meticulously clean. Any place he spends a lot of time in reflects this. He's a fantastic baker, obviously, and a decent cook (though cooking bores him). He would love to settle down but is also a bit scared of genuine commitment.
E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)
Hunter is a bit of a coward when it comes to hard conversations. He will drag the relationship past its prime and his happiness. Only then will he break up with the person. It will take ages for him to say the words. There would be a lot of floundering and "it's not you, it's me."
F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quickly would they want to get married?)
Hunter is vaguely scared of the idea of marriage. Dating? Not an issue. Engaged? Harder to wrap his head around. Married? Terrifying. It's not because he doesn't want to - he isn't sure he could handle it if something went wrong. If his partner left him or cheated or died. The insecurities would keep him from that final commitment stage (atm).
G = Gentle (How gentle are they physically and emotionally?)
He isn't excessively gentle. He won't be rough, but he gives firm hugs and handshakes. (Also, light touches make him ticklish, so he assumes that's similar for everyone 😂) When he touches a person, he wants them to feel it and know it's him.
Emotionally, he is very gentle with others. Too gentle, some might say. This wasn't always the case, but Hunter ensures it is now.
H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)
He enjoys hugs but only does it if he's very close or intimate with the other person. Hugs are a very serious thing for him. His hugs are firm and all consuming.
I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)
Hunter will not say it first. Once his partner does, though, he will say it often and with so much joy.
J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)
Hunter gets Very Jealous. He will try not to let it show (he fails) and keep it from interrupting his relationship (he also fails at this). He will become oddly competitive with the perceived threat and possessive of his partner. He doesn't realize he's doing this at the moment. If his partner points it out, he feels awful. Insecurities 1, Hunter 0.
K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they want to be kissed?)
Hunter's kisses are firm but slow at first. If in a more passionate situation, they can be a little rough - open-mouthed, pressing hard, small nips, unwilling to pull away.
They love kissing your lips. They're obsessed with them. In return, they most like their lips, cheeks, and neck kissed.
L = Little ones (How are they around children?)
He is great with children - patient, kind, and willing to teach. Kids love him, too. He would enjoy children of his own, but it's another huge commitment that also scares him.
M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)
Hunter has to wake up before dawn to get to the kitchen and start baking. He doesn't have any time to spend with friends or his partner (unless they are sleeping together, in which case he will snuggle and kiss them a bit before leaving).
N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)
Nighttime is the exact opposite of morning. After dinner, Hunter is entirely free and doesn't want to think about work if he can help
it.
Hunter wants to spend time with friends or his partner watching TV or movies, going into town for a quick dessert, or walking around the compound and hanging out.
O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)
At first, he will only open up to his friends and partners about positive things. He keeps his darker secrets, his past, his previous choices, and his insecurities to himself. The honesty will unfold slowly over time. With a partner he feels deeply for, he will reach a point where it physically pains him to keep the secrets. He'll spill all of his darkness in one long diatribe and be prepared for his partner to leave him immediately.
P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)
Nowadays, Hunter holds himself back from getting angry at others. His rage ruined his closest relationship, and he learned the hard way what unleashing anger can do. Now, he takes deep breaths, walks, and comes back with solutions and honest feelings, not anger.
Q = Quizzes (How much do they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or forget everything?)
Hunter will remember many of the more significant details you tell him. The smaller things? Not as much. He will definitely remember almost all details about Bug (her likes/dislikes/birthday, etc) so that he can make sure she is properly cared for.
R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)
To be determined by you in game :)
S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)
Hunter is not brave, but he will bodily protect those he loves from physical harm. On the other hand, he is also very possessive. If he feels like someone is trying to to "steal you away," he will be clingier with you and standoffish to the person.
He secretly wants his partner to be willing to walk through fire for him if need be. He would love someone to be the brave and selfless one for him.
T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)
He will put all of the effort into special occasions. Handmade gifts galore, personalized baked goods with your favorite ingredients, a romantic dinner - he will pull out all the stops.
For everyday tasks, he puts in whatever effort is required (if he doesn't like the task) and goes a little above and beyond for tasks he likes.
U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)
Possessiveness. Hiding painful things from others. Taking out his insecurities in a way that affects his loved ones.
V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)
When he was younger, Hunter was very vain. Now, he forces himself not to care about his clothing and personal effects. He keeps himself well-groomed and his skin pristine, but that is all he allows himself.
W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)
Once you are an established couple, yes.
X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)
Hunter feels extremely uncomfortable if his partner bakes for him. He will eat the items on offer, but he feels bad about it. He should be treating you, not the other way around. It's his entire purpose, after all.
Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)
Hunter is very meticulous and would need his partner to help keep the home clean. Especially since there would be a child involved. They do not like germs, but they will put that aside with a child - they kind of have to, lol. Even so, they can't handle a partner who coughs/sneezes and doesn't cover their face. If their partner eats with their mouth open, Hunter would be horrified.
Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)
Hunter sleeps spread out like a starfish if he sleeps alone. He tries to keep the sprawling to a minimum with a partner, but he might accidentally encroach on their space.
If he is sleeping with a partner, he has a habit of dragging them close in his sleep, wrapping an arm tight around their middle. Since he overheats quickly, this might cause sweating during the summer.
