“Can’t believe you sleep out here,” Jordan snorts. Their eyes are blessedly closed, the hollowness of them hidden. "We have the dormitory for a reason. These cabins are just asking to be swallowed up by the woods."
You roll onto your side, the bed creaking with the motion, and study the slope of their nose and mouth. They are as unmoved as ever, even after sharing your bed. You didn’t expect anything different, really, but…
“I like my privacy.”
Jordan chuckles, a toned arm casually pulling you closer. “Privacy? In 𝗛⃥𝘪̸𝘀⃥ literal backyard? You’re fucking insane.”
You press your face to their shoulder and pretend their words have no effect. “Scared?”
“Immensely,” they reply, tone dry but seemingly honest.
“Guess you’re not spending the night then?”
Jordan’s laughter is warm; you wish their gaze was when it meets yours. “No sex is worth what 𝗛⃥𝘦̸ might do if 𝗛⃥𝘦̸ gets bored.”
