Yeah, when I take someone new through Buffy, I have a few S1 episodes we don't even watch... and this is one of them. S1 gives good backstory and introduces lore and characters who will be important, but it does struggle a bit. Do not fret, though, because it is one of the best shows ever, and you won't have to wait too long to see why!

Definitely the weakest so far… and the weakest one of season 1 in my opinion! I do think you’ll love the rest of the season!
