Pencils Pens and Chocolate

I hope everyone is doing well. In this video I swap out a couple of pencils, and I ink a fountain pen in preparation for the next Great Athlete video. Speaking of Athletes, sporting events are beginning again as of late, but with the pandemic, politics, and other stuff, it just doesn't seem the same, and so I haven't been too excited about it, however, I'll make an attempt to watch some college football later today and who knows, perhaps it'll be great.
Pandemic life can definitely be one of relative solitude and finding the engagement we are built for can be tough during these times. So many of us have put portions of, if not all, of our lives on hold while we hunker down, not really knowing one hundred percent what or who to believe anymore. Add to that the ensuing political and social chaos, and it's a wonder we are still sane. Life already has enough challenges it seems, but with self-discipline, logic, reasoning, safe engagement with others, and a bit of luck thrown in for extra measure, we will get through this. Other generations have had their fair share of challenges and this is just one of ours. Things will improve and life will eventually return to normal, but until then we all just go about our day being mindful of everything the best we can.

The audio was very good - although I am no expert! I thought that was the story behind that famous phrase!

Really like mine. Everytime I sharpen a pencil I feel like I'm back in 4th grade.

I smiled at your reference to the classic pencil sharpener... after fighting with my daughter’s electric one a few times this year, I swapped it out for one of those classic hand-crank units that I got at an estate sale. Haven’t had one since I was a kid, thought I’d share the nostalgia with her!

Shupiwe, I think you already know my little secret. Yup, I tipped a bottle of ink over and it did ruin my day lol. Glad you like the video. I almost didn't post it because the audio was so bad, but I worked on it in post production and got it to the point where I thought it might pass.
