🕑 Added 2023-03-06 02:56:00 +0000 UTCSorry for the late post everyone. This past month's been hectic for me. Taxes. Getting a lipoma taken out of my gut and getting stitches. Seriously ramping up work. 3 major snow storms. It's been hectic.
Anyways, this chapter's way bigger and heavier than even I anticipated, and I knew how bad it was going to get before I started it. To be honest, I might have rushed that last... third of it trying to get the damn thing finished. Loads of reveals and Issei just flat out venting and ripping on EVERYONE in this chapter. Not that it isn't well deserved.
And rest assured before you read it, Carn is not getting out of this untouched. Not at ALL. Issei flat out stated there would be consequences if they couldn't keep her away from him and he more than keeps his word in this chapter.
That said, again, I might have rushed bits of this chapter, so please let me know if you have something to nitpick or that I missed. Again, sorry for the late posting.
Now then, onto FFD once more and the bullshit over the top fight that I haven't even started yet... why do I do this to myself?

Issei has a top tier IKEA membership. He could nearly fully furnish seven large houses with all the furniture and apparel he has stored in in his Boosted Gear. Our boy is prepared.

I think that the most astounding part of this, wasn't the fact that he could heal himself incredibly rapidly or anything of that like. But that he assembled and disassembled and IKEA table with most likely no instructions.

Reading this chapter I am irresistibly reminded of Churchill's famous quote about Chamberlain after appeasing Hitler: "You were given the choice between War and Dishonor. You chose Dishonor, and you will have War." The Three Factions dishonored themselves by degrees over Issei, and now the war is here.
