That would be the biggest letdown of any of Fang’s stories imo. The entirety of GAIWP has been about hyping Issei up to be an absolute monster. Can’t imagine you’re right, even if I agree with your view on the narrative.

Does anyone else feel like, despite the tone, the narrative is pressuring Issei to lose? Keeps the plot entangled.

Maaaan I think my guess about Blind Eternity might’ve been close to the truth. Something of a reset/respawn button or the like.. must be with Ghost inside.
