The divine often have their own plans and designs on what they would see come to pass. Much of the time, our understanding of it is clouded by machinations beyond the veil that our eyes cannot perceive, but every so often those machinations come into direct possession of those that walk the mortal realms. This sword has long been guarded by a being of untiring loyalty, but now relieved of its duty, it has fallen into my hands. What you’ll do with it, well that’s your business. I’m just a merchant afterall.
Our patrons get early access to all of these items as well as additional formats that are easily usable in both physical and online play for D&D and Pathfinder 2E. Additionally they get high-res art exports, easy to use text exports, behind the scenes updates, and a lot more.

Design notes from Matthew:
I’ve long loved the idea of taking limited video game mechanics and bringing them into a TTRPG setting. You have to be careful when you do that as it’s very easy to let something get too complex, but when you really get down to the core of video game concepts, some of them translate well into tabletops. A good example of this would be stance dancing. That’s the idea of swapping between stances in order to gain benefits. It gives weight to the choice to switch between them and I love that possible duality.
On the 5E front, the way to accomplish more in combat is often to just give more up front damage. I wanted to lean into making this weapon a bit more conventionally powerful so I just leaned on the damage and damage type of it. The defensive side offers a reasonable buff for a moment with a possible offensive turnaround if things go well. I rather enjoy that swing mechanic of the stances.
For that Pathfinder 2E version, I wanted to open up the idea of ripostes and give players something special that they would actually want to go into the defensive stance for. Players often look at damage as the only valid option, but I like to challenge that by opening up mechanics that make you want to choose something other than just damage.
We’ll be releasing a divine construct to go along with this sword later on today! I always love these combo releases and I’m sure your players will have a difficult time with the beast we’ve cooked up for this one. I’ve been wanting to do a more divine themed construct for awhile and the timing was just perfect!
We highly encourage you to join our Discord server where you’ll get access to exclusive channels that have sneak peeks, behind the scenes chatter, and more.
