Been really enjoying this playthrough- the remake is very different from the original (no spoilers) so it's not that you're forgetting things. Even if it's on your own time, the original is also an amazing play, though the translation was a bit spotty and the graphics are definitely dated, but even if you choose not to it's been amazing to see FF7 through a new set off eyes 😊

You know before Christmas I wasn't sure if I was feeling like playing Rebirth when it gets released next month. But watching these episodes has reminded me how much I enjoyed this game and now I can't wait to jump into the next one! Hope you have a great time with ya pops and get well soon!

I grew up thinking everyone just loved Tifa for her enormous personality, but then I played FF7 and realized she really is the best. This has been a really enjoyable series so far, I love it when you geek out over the scenery/art assets. I hope you're starting to feel better, safe travels!

Stomach issues are the worst! Hope you feel well soon. I recently played the Super Mario RPG remake. A mid-90s turn-based RPG classic with upgraded visuals, music and some new play mechanics. It was pretty much the OG in some updated clothes. Which is cool. I'm a sucker for nostalgia, so I was happy. But damn...FF7 (another mid-90s turn-based RPG classic) got itself a REEEEEmake! My goodness. This upgrade is a LOT in every way! Seems like you're really having fun with it (and yeah probably more fun to watch than turn-based FF). I just may need to play this. Tifa..uh oh! Step aside Carlos from RE3.
