I think breaks are good from time to time Amber. Absolutely nothing wrong with taking some time, for any reason really. No need to ever justify anything. Looking forward to your next livestream, but there is no rush. What matters is that the right time presents itself, so you don't go into it feeling something is off or wrong.

Great episode, I always enjoy seeing Patches get his just desserts! Please do take a break if you think you need it. If you've been under the weather anyway then the last thing you need is YouTube adding to your worries. Doing another stream sounds like a great idea though!

Two DS videos nearly back-to-back? :-o (I really liked your sound effect fun last video, lol) I sent you a message earlier about using Voicemeeter for your mic input to help solve your "silent screams" problem but just thought to look into it via Streamlabs. You use that, don't you? Or OBS? If Streamlabs, all the fun settings I mentioned are in there already. A compressor to keep your startled screams audible but never allow the volume past a certain level, and an expander to silence any sounds below a certain level; Walton making chewing noises, fans, rain, etc. I actually can't think of what setting cuts out your mic above a certain dB level. I've not heard of that before. Usually you'd just use the compressor or limiter so you don't loose audio. So first of all: Don't burn yourself out. I think just a nice, calming stream here and there is more than enough content to tide us over, and that just takes the whole "editting" thing out of the equation. Patches getting killed by that giant skeleton cracked me up. Don't worry, the man deserves it :) The bigger skeletons in the Tomb of the Giants aren't terribly strong, the biggest issue is that the Silver Knight Spear does predominantly pierce damage; the skeletons are strong against pierce, so it was good you switched to the Black Knight Sword later :D. They didn't resurrect because there wasn't a necromancer nearby (the fire throwing brown robe dudes). Still very glad you used the spear in the catacombs though! Keeping the skeletons dead permanently without first killing the necromancers there is a major boon. Quite easy to get overwhelmed by the small bastards otherwise haha. Those skeleton dogs though? They're freaking insane. Basically the highest damage dealing enemies in the game. I really feel like they made a small mistake with that thing haha. Congratulations on the first Lord Soul! 3 more to go :) Another GREAT episode. You may have not explored the entirety of the Catacombs, but you got through what you did explore pretty quick (and painlessly?)! (and you went back and explored most of it later anyway, but don't forget that one wall you broke but didn't enter ;) ) Well, on to the next episode we go!

if you feel that you need another break than that is what you need and that's ok! you've been working so hard between the massive zelda vids on top of dark souls so it's completely understandable. would love to see more streams if you're up for it and want a more chill time, excited to watch this when i get home!
