i positively LOVE this game! i can't believe i never heard of it until now!! edit: oh hey btw Amber, do you have clips disabled on your channel? i was gonna make a clip of the Walrus talking about ships and pigs with wings and stuff because my mom loves that passage from the original books, but i noticed the option wasn't there

I really do love this game and it's weird (but cool!) aesthetics. Played it up until the end of chapter 4 and then my computer died, never got back around to finishing it, so seeing you play through this is great! Older games just have this charm hanging over them. Glad to see you like it, it's been an excellent playthrough so far. And of course a (belated) happy birthday to Walton!

Rogue Variable

Loving your progress, I hope you can play it through. Give Walton a treat for me. I just lost my schnauzer of 18 years. Cherish every moment.

I'd also be interested in a Psychonauts playthrough. It's a perfect fit for what you described, creative level design that doesn't get made much today. It's pretty dated with notoriously frustrating platforming, but the style is charming with great dialogue.

Happy Birthday Walton !

Ha, and it does match the sea dress (the creature on the back of which I think is an anglerfish?)

Angela

That shirt is so pretty!!

if you're after older games then maybe some of the older resi games would be good? ooo or maybe you could have a retro series where you just play older stuff? i'd be so down for that

Trolez

And another recommendation that is not really old, but definitely lots of fun and very creative is A Hat in Time 🎩

Trolez

This is a great series so far! Maybe you would also enjoy Psychonauts. It's an older title in a similar vein, though I've only played the more recent sequel myself. Edit: oh, you mentioned it right at the end! Color me interested!
