I might look into doing that! As for why I decided to go with that, I just wanted something that was related to the cycle of 8 years, and this seemed perfect.

What made you go with Octaeteris? I had to look it up. I got the oct had to do with eight, but maybe you should bring this up in the book. Maybe make a small reference to Jeremy commenting that the last book he read had inspired him to find out more on greek culture, myths and legends and how the cycle bared an uncanny resemblance to the greek calendar? Say he had just finished Odyssey.
