After a Monster 16 hour final editing day, I managed to finish my latest project, a standalone video about cursed belt weaving, curseder belt tapestry, and cursedest Legally Obtainable "Infinity Chests" for all your Space Storage Needs!
It took a lot longer than I thought it would, as I found an error in one of my calculations (see if you can her the fix...), and also I kept finding new and improved methods and even exploits which all had to be added in... So to stop that vicious viscuous visual circle, I simply stopped playing Space Age completely after the last stream... I haven't played any factorio since except the factorio 1.1 10k SPM base finales on stream!
Anyway, another reason it took so long is that I assumed my "normal" editing progress of about 1 minute of edited video per hour would fly... It didn't, as that is the pace when I have the gameplay/material recorded! But for a video in this style, I have to come up with, set up, and then record scenes for just about every line of the 4200 word long script!
I also took the opportunity to play around a bit with the new Space Age soundscapes, and MAN, those deliver! There are some real masterpieces of soundtrack-driven moments in there, so be sure to watch on LOUD volume! (I don't do sound jumpscares, ever).
This video will have a shortened early access of a day and a bit, as there is a little sense of hurry to get it out there (with the exploits and opinions on non-exploits which may have a small effect on the devs view on things). The video will go live on the youtoobz on saturday 09.00 CET (if I survive friday's party! ;)

PS If you like subtitles, I'm working on those, will upload them some time tomorrow. This video is 1080p, I'm also finally trying a 2160p export to see if that will help quality at 1080p, it should at least a little bit, as some scenes are filmed in 3200x2000. So if you like to get in an early comment, keep in mind that this early access version MAY eventually not be the one that goes to youtube (ok I typed so long the 2160p is uploading, may take a couple hours to get processed into youtube-UHD, but it's here: https://youtu.be/2NKK_2v4jiE ).
PSPS The next video is probably an edit of the shattered planet trip, as I can't update my game until that is done (I need to re-record lots of scenes and if I update the Railgun shooting speed gets fixed, which is an incredibly large shift in balance... I'll probably try to fly back FROM the shattered planet on stream once I update, and see if the ship can still survive with the new balance (that's NOT a given!). I project this video to be around 20-ish minutes long (famous last words), so I should finish it in a week or two. Alright imma go to bed

Yeah, there's both a blueprint and a savegame with the ship built so you can take it for a apin. An informative and highly entertaining video! I watched it on Saturday morning, but at low volume with subtitles to avoid waking anyone, so I'll be sure to use headphones for the full audio experience when I inevitably rewatch it. By the way, I truly appreciate that you regularly take the time to upload the subtitle script to YT. I read subtitles a lot because it's often easier than listening, and it makes a big difference when you provide the script instead of letting auto-caption try to figure out your "eccent" and all the associated verbal puns.

Is there no way to smoothen the transition between the frames with some... Wait for it!... AI? 🤣. Or just tell he computer to "Enhance and zoom in!"

I already had to enable monetization on the 2160p upload (linked in the text of this post) which goes live on YT tomorrow (with the usual 1-week-early-access period I can wait, but it takes a bit of time to check for potential problems). I will leave the 1080p version up as well (this is main video link of this post), that one has ads disabled entirely
