Rampant or Warptorio!
Rampant:

Rampant Deathworld, WITH Rampant's own enemies (20ish different types/factions all with their own special attacks and damage resistances, for example poison biters, electric biters, inferno biters, brutal biters, nuclear biters), but WITHOUT Rampant's arsenal (which gives you plenty of powerul options to counter rampant's own biter types, but we will have only the vanilla weapons to counter them)

Factorio but you build your factory in a restricted space that teleports yourself, the platform, and everything on it to a new and uncharted planet in an unknown corner of space, time and the universe while constantly under attack of enemies.
This mod increases the difficulty of factorio by making construction harder and making biters a more significant threat, resulting in a unique experience of factorio'ing in a tight space and under pressure, almost like a tower defence game.

Earlier this year I did a poll on ideas for the next series.

There were 2 clear winners for a main project style:
- Desert DeathWorld with Eternal Biter Bases and Worms (expansion on)
which we are in the middle of right now, and
- 10K SPM and How to Get There (biters on)
which will likely be the next main project (if my PC upgrade plan is complete)
For the side project, Rampant was the clear winner there, with Rogue Planet DeathWorld coming in second. However, I didn't put Warptorio on the list, a mod which I didn't know about at the time, but turns out to be quite popular and interesting... So that's why we now have a new poll with only these 2 options for the next side project!
Anyway, thanks for voting and your ongoing support, I'm excited for either project! I feel like this poll is gonna be a close one!

I’d enjoy seeing how you solve the unique challenges in either mod, but to me Warptorio would be a more interesting change of pace and scenery than Rampant, due to the radically different gameplay style it forces on you.
After thinking about this for a few days, and having originally voted Rampant, I'm beginning to think a lot of these videos lately have all been about biter difficulty rather than the interesting edits and builds like we saw with some of the earlier stuff like the ribbon world series. Warptorio could actually be quite good, but I think there still needs to be some extra challenge to keep the build interesting and keep a point of difference. For Mr Hendricks, I'd like to see Warptorio with NO hand feeding and no/minimum hand crafting. The Ultimate Lazy Bastard run, perhaps? I just find the hand feeding setups lately to get a bit tedious and circumventing part of the core game.
