As always, the editing of this previewed is fully finalized with no changes planned, so you won't miss out by watching now, however, don't watch if you prefer the full length 25-35 min episodes.
After work on this episode is complete, I will pick up the 100% evolution side project series again. I still have 1-2 episodes worth of material recorded (depending on how much I can speed up), and like mentioned before, I may finish the series in a streamed format. As for the next side project, it's likely gonna be warptorio or rampant, I'll put a decider vote up here on patreon in due time. In the background, planning and testing for the next main series (10k SPM with biters enabled) is ongoing, and I'm really happy with how the "60 SPM self balancing starter base" is turning out, the blueprint book is available in the accompanying post a bit below, so if you wanna give it a go, it's there :) (They're a little hard to find by now, so here's the 2 links: patreon.com/posts/self-balancing-80823543 and patreon.com/posts/playtest-my-60-80458332)

I’m pretty sure there’s only one space in the wall gaps…
Your problems with wall attrition are likely related to the large spacing in your wall design. The two-tile gap allows the enemies to spread out over the inner walls, so once an outer wall is breached, the inner wall will fail at basically the same rate. If you drop the spacing down to one tile, the enemies barely spread out at all and attrition on the inner walls becomes really slow, even when there are gaps in the outer wall. When all the enemies get concentrated in one spot they die really quickly. I think this this effect is exponential in the number of walls, since with a three wall design and a one tile spacing, the third line of defense lasts for literally hours.

A tense beginning to the episode! Was this your first on-camera death by biters? It’s hard to picture a future base woven in among all those nests, but I’m looking forward to the “Fun” part you have foreshadowed. Happy birthday!
