Had a bit of a scare

Hi all! It's been a while, right? When I made this patreon, I used an old email address I used for all kinds of smut reasons. I linked an old phone number to it for recovery reasons and forgot all about it. It was a prepaid phone and it had to be topped up or the number would be cancelled. Since I never used it, I forgot it and it got cancelled indeed.
Nothing much happened until Google decided I was trying to hack my own account a few weeks back. It locked me out and the only way to get back in was to use that phone number that was cancelled. Absolutely no way to un-cancel it. I was fucked, or so it seemed. I spent hours looking for solutions and the only thing that seemed to work for some people was... Wait. Wait a few weeks and see if Google still thinks you're a hacker.
Patreon randomly decides to ask for email confirmation for login, so I was locked out of here as well. I was really afraid I'd lost my entire Patreon. So I did all I could do: wait. And it worked. Google let me back in after several weeks and I immediately changed my Patreon email address to a new gmail without phone recovery. So I'm back.
So, what's been happening with the game?
I'm having a bit of trouble lately. I can't lie: I'm having trouble combining work, the game and my mental health. It's like I can choose 2 out of 3 at most. I have been working on setting up a small business on the side lately to make my own income. I'm hoping to launch it soon and plan to replace my job with it eventually so I can create my own schedule in life.
I have been very much contemplating to release the MAiH2 paywall and just go back to the same system I used for MAiH1: free to play with cheats, voting and other bonuses for patrons. The paywall is giving me a lot of stress and guilt when I'm not delivering, which is quite often as you all know. I'm less dependant on the money these days, and I do hope that many will stay subbed just to support, or at least return once I get back to delivering. I want to go back to a place where I make this thing for fun and get support because people wánt to support, not because they need to to play. It just feels a little wrong.
So, any talk about the actual fucking game?
Yeah yeah, sorry, I ramble. I have been doing some work. I fixed some bugs and I've been struggling a lot with the scenes for the business. I want to make them really fun but I tend to over-complicate things to a degree where I get stuck. For now, I will try to keep things simple with the option to complicate them later, just for the sake of getting it done and being able to move on to new things like the relationship mechanics, more sex and proper ways to build status in the game world.
Ideally I'll find a writer that can help me out with some content so I can focus on coding. I just really want to make new features but I'm stuck with such an immense mountain of writing on the to-do list and I can't just skip it or it'll become a mess of empty passages like MAiH1 was. I posted an ad here a while ago but never got a response, so I'll try my luck over on reddit soon.
