I thought I'd get you up-to-date on the progress of Shelter's next build and on my life and stuff in general.
So far I wrote 7000 words of the new story script, updated PATHS to cover all the content up to the end of MID-AFTERNOON (increasing the number of nodes from, iirc, 44 to around 140), and I also finally designed and implemented my own custom quickmenu icons set for the normal gameplay. I'm talking about all the icons for menu, hide, back, autoplay, skip, and also for PATHS. I hope you'll like them! They appear different for android build to account for the lack of mouse hover option.
There's a specific point in the story that I'd like to reach before I can get to drawing/coding and wrapping this update up. I'll keep writing until I get there.
Despite finally getting settled down in one place without any big travels planned for a long time, my last months here have been filled with a bunch bureaucratic and minor health-related stuff that's been taking me away from my work routine too often, so I'm taking longer with releasing this new build than I'd want. It should start getting a bit easier on that soon, so I'll just keep working whenever I can, and I hope you'll like the new stuff once I can finally share it with you :)
Thank you for your support and patience!
See you soon!
Your Dog,
