I thought I'd get you up to date on Shelter's next build's development and my life and stuff.
I released a teaser of the next build for the lvl3 Patrons but I'm still going to be working through May to finish it. This is an important build, concluding the chunkiest story path yet, and I want to make it as epic as I can. This is the most "visual" finale of all the finales so far in this visual novel. I'm experimenting with a new style, simple animations and whatknot, and that's still going to take some time, but luckily that's pretty much all I'll be focusing on through May. That, and also sounds. There are a whole lot of events that will require extensive audio work and I'm still waiting for new music from my composer, potentially giving me enough time to get an extra one done on top of that from someone else. I hope that will elevate this build even more.
I thought the past two months I would be able to work faster than I did, but life hit me with a bunch of unexpected distractions. I'll keep working whenever I can though.
As for the mysterious side project, we're almost done setting up the groundwork on the battle system, and after our next coding milestone, we should be able to finally start putting the fun stuff on top of that, like the skills and damage formulas and so on.
I'm sorry for the long time this new update is taking me to finish. I hope it will be worth the wait. Can't wait to share it with you!

I know this probably isn't the mysterious side project but this setting would work absolutely wonderful as a 2D turn-based battler. I could just imagine the super moves our heroes could pull off. Looking forward to seeing the newest update when it happens and I bet the new music's going to be awesome
