January 2025 Devlog
🕑 Added 2025-01-24 14:05:32 +0000 UTCAwoo mates!
I thought I'd get you up-to-date on my work and life and stuff. It's been exceptionally busy few weeks irl for me, and while all of it is important stuff that's going to benefit me and my projects greatly in 2025, I'm still in the middle of work on the newest Shelter build, which I'm going to release it in February in the end.
I currently have roughly 4000 words of new script, a set of Burry's bondage pictures which I posted recently, and I also extended the Paths to cover all of the content to the end of the Evening time slot. Come to think of it it's already quite a lot of work done but I know there's still a lot to finish. I have to write more, maybe draw an extra shot for Burry's scene where he gets sucked off or something, and also I've been meaning to try integrating the Chinese language option into the files, since some good folks shared their work on that with me. I just need to be careful not to break my default UI with that.
I'm going to keep working on all of that and I'll let you know as soon as I get close to completion. A bunch of the things that have been going on in my life made it pretty much impossible to properly focus on work for a number of days. Luckily, the hardest and most time-consuming issues are already behind me and now I'm finally settled in the best and most stable work setup I've had literally in years. Right now I'm writing all of this from an office in a new apartment that my hot boyfriend and I finally managed to move in literally two days ago.
To summarize what has been going on with me since the last Shelter build, I have been going through a bunch of medical exams and had to undergo a minor surgery in December. I had to stay a night in the hospital and go through weeks of annoying recovery. I'm still not 100% healed but at this point it's good enough that I don't even think about it anymore. I have the last doctor checkup scheduled in the middle of February and I hope that at that point it will be nothing but just a boring memory and a scar. It was the second time I was ever put to sleep on an operating table in my entire life and, hopefully, I won't need to do that again for at least another ten years lol.
Another endeavor that took a lot of my time was going through a long, painful, and poorly defined bureaucracy of getting a visa for a longer stay in Brazil. I started that whole process months ago and right now I'm at the very final stages of that. It's not fully in the bag yet, but I was told there's a good chance everything will finally be approved soon. If I have that sorted out, I'll finally be able to settle in one place for longer, up to two years.
Traveling around the world was great, ironically helped me improve my finances, showed me opportunities I wouldn't be aware of otherwise, allowed me to meet up with friends across the ocean I thought I would never see, and generally made me a better person. I think I've had my fill of that for now, though. I want to settle in one place and be more focused and productive with my game-making. Shelter the VN has been slowly drawing to its final parts, and we've been doing steady progress on setting up the Unity engine for SheltRPG project (temporary name) to which Knotsoft will be switching afterward.
I'm very grateful to all of you for giving me so much of your patience and trust that made it all possible. 2024 was my personal record-breaking most successful and positive year so far, and I will never take any of that for granted. With everything finally falling into stability, I want 2025 to be a year where I can give you things to be excited about like never before.
Sorry for making this a kinda long post. Since I won't be able to provide a new build this month, at least I wanted to talk to you about my stuff as much as possible. I guess I wish these 824 words were rather put as an extra word count for the new build's script, but keeping you updated is important too!
Well then, let's get back to making gay furry games! In my new home, new office, with my incredibly hot boyfriend Sleth the creator of Demons Within, whom I have been hecking in the butt with my girthy shlong through all of this unforgettable time in Brazil (except for those few weeks of post-surgery recovery).
Life is good.
Bork to you soon!

Goodluck on getting the visa approved, Raus! And i'm glad the surgery went well. I'm excited for new projects you will work on after Shelter and to be honest, my interest in Shelter had been dwindling for some time now since most updates in the past year consists of just side plots and bark stories. (I've been finding time to catch up to the latest build) Wishing you and Sleth all the knots and head pats, Demords

You are the only artist I support that inform on advance if something is not ok with their work for which I am very grateful. Wish you best. Regards. Awooo!
