I have to say I really enjoy Ghosts and definitely recommend! They're 30 min ep that are funny and light. I also think that it's worth it to watch the original British version as well, while some broadstrokes remain the same...there are also a lot of enjoyable differences due to the difference in location (the ghosts while they mirror in some ways are different characters because they have to be based on that)

Re: northern lights photos, from the Bay Area at least, it was the case that your phone camera on nighttime mode captured the gorgeous colors really well, but to the naked eye, it was only very faintly noticeable. More of a "...oh yeah....I kinda sorta see it" situation. Def wasn't that impressive in real life, but technology made it look cool and gave people FOMO
