I am so pissed because I knew what happened, but right now am unable to explain what happened. I lost months of work because I was forced to, but only realised now.

I will get in trouble if I get anything like that. I really am stuck with what I can do.
Can't you download a program to restore deleted files? Files never really leave a hard drive unless you fill it up.
