Tribute to U-Jin
🕑 Added 2020-08-14 17:00:04 +0000 UTCHello everybody!
Here is my tribute to U-jin. His manga were in the manga store and I could not buy them. I was underage, and also saving my money for Satoshi Urushihara's books. The colors of the french version were pretty bad (outlines poorly colored and a radioactive green for the title), but I tried to be faithful to it.
Enjoy!

Loving this, I had the manga originals when they came out, from japan..

I'd like to say that's a wonderful tribute, but all I can say is "honk honk!"

oh man, i love the work from Satoshi Urushihara, good choise :)
I agree there's something special about that piece and you did great work extending it into the modern, you nailed it. You should send it to U Jin, I'm sure he'd be delighted to see this. Hey, I've always wondered this about artists like you, are you still able to get turned on by your own work? Or does the deep understanding of the drawing mechanics and the familiarization with every detail of the work make you numb to your own work?
