Something a bit annoying for the wallet of half of you in July: The tax laws are changing. Depending on the country/state you live in, you will have an extra charge of Value-Added Tax. In USA, it should be 4% of your pledge ($0.3 on a $5 pledge).
European people can ignore that news. We pay it already to take some money to Amazon, etc. What counts is not the country of the company anymore BUT the country of the customer.
More data here but shortly it's around 10%, in these place:
36 states of USA
Australia
Belarus
Iceland
India
Japan
New Zealand
Norway
Quebec
Russia
Saudia Arabia
Singapore
South Africa
South Korea
Switzerland
Taiwan
Turkey
United Arab Emirates
When you pay a tax, your country is supposed to offer something in return. If not, think about protest or tax evasion. In France it’s quite okay. I wish you the same.

Oh! It must be interesting. Doha is on my list of the 10 places I'd like to visit.
Ah shit, okay. I watch graphics about your money. The last 2 years accelerate to be super bad. Something must have happened in 2017. I did not follow the news. The food prise rises...shit.
Good morning, I am used to it, I am from Argentina and here 1 dollar is worth $ 71 of our currency, to that we must add 30% that the country charges us for buying things with a card in foreign currency, that is, the dollar ends us Starting at $ 92.30, either buying something on Amazon or paying for digital things like Netflix or Steam, I ended up with Patreon spending 5 dollars that ends up being $ 461.50. With all this, things continue to rise in price every week, such as food or things of daily life, and I have continued with the same salary for 6 months, where I am also working with the risk of catching the Chinese virus that is in everywhere. Sorry if I spread myself with so many words, I needed to download anger
Thanks for letting us know appreciate it.
