Progress Report - March 25, 2024
🕑 Added 2024-03-26 10:55:59 +0000 UTCHello, everyone!
The scary intimidating spreadsheet so far has been very successful. It managed to keep me on-task all week, sans for today where the ADHD squirrels simply refused to focus on anything. And I mean anything. Could barely even manage to play games, I was so distracted today.
As the notes suggest, I managed to get about 1.5 minutes of new animation laid down for Overbreed Episode 1 this week. I'm going slightly off-script, in part due to the position change I needed to do for the thumbing and rimming, and also partially just for pacing reasons. Overall I think it works quite nicely though.
The total runtime for Sequence C is now 19:45 minutes in length. We're quickly approaching Sombra's second orgasm (of four). Since the subsequent 3 orgasms come about roughly twice as quickly as the first one does, that'd put us at roughly 3/5 the way through Sequence C. Which means I expect about another 8 minutes of animation for the sequence to be made. Combined with the 30-minute runtime of the storyboard, and also throw in the unwritten post-Sequence-C narrative, and we're looking at square an hour total for the episode's runtime. Which is on the high end of the 45-to-60 minute projection I had napkin-math'd previously.
Of course, this is all still just very rough napkin math. There's no way for me to really predict how much animation is left to do in Sequence C, I'm just making my best guesses here.
Related to the difficulty in predicting runtimes, and in going off-script, I am also considering rewriting a section in Sequence B - specifically, the femdom sequence of Mercy's little "spirit journey" (if that's leaving you scratching your head, check out 12:12 of the Storyboard by clicking here). I'm not sure what I would replace it with, but there's just something about the sequence that's written that I just don't like.
Of course, I'm not focusing on that right now. It's just my mind tends to wander while I'm putting together these sequences. Particularly building new loops, it's not a terribly mentally-intensive process (much more a trial of patience than anything, especially when it comes time to adjusting the timing and intensity of motions) and so it leaves a lot of brainpower on idle.
Sequence B will actually be the last sex sequence built, since once Sequence C is done I intend to go to the top and build Sequence A, then Sequence B, and then finally all of the narrative work tying them all together into a single flowing narrative.
At any rate, that's all I've really got to share for this week. It's been a productive week, and here's hoping the next week will be just as productive! If all goes well, I should be well into the anal section of the sequence then.
Transitioning into that will be interesting, since it was originally an extension of the flatiron pose I had picked out for this current section of the sequence, but I had to change it for technical reasons. Not quite sure how I'll resolve that incongruity, but I'll figure it out.
Until next time, everyone!
