yeah it took me a couple of rewatches to understand. I thought it was just going back to him in the real world after he'd been in the simulation but nope, it happened before 😂

All the stuff with Myungha in the real world happened before the simulation btw. Like the wish to disappear, his grandma dying, the breakup and him visiting his mum, then drowning himself in the sea (which is really sad because in the simulation, he said about how much he loves the sea :( )
