But also, I feel like once they stop updating Sims 4 I might get back into it since I shouldn't need to worry about a random update fucking up all my mods.

If anything I'll wait for the new game to come out and get reviewed and updated a few times before deciding if I want to buy it.

It depends on the quality of the new game.

As with previous Sims games, I think it will still be playable for many years to come, but EAxis may stop producing packs. And maybe a few years from now they will stop supporting the Gallery. But because the game itself can be played offline, I think it will continue to be playable, with less and less service updates, so bugs will become bigger issues. I don't play any other EA games, it is my hope that another studio not connected to Trump/Saudi's will buy Maxis, and we can go back to openly loving the game instead of secretly buying new packs and not telling anyone. If another Sims PC game launches, I dunno if I'll want it or not, but if I do get it, I'll want your dicks in the game :D

I'd definitely keep playing Sims 4. It would be nice to have a break from the constant packs and expansions, and see what the modding community can do to keep the game interesting.

I will still be playing Sims 4.........

Artemis

I will be trying whatever may come next, if it comes at all. But I don't intend to stop playing Sims 4 in a very long while. Would love to see what you come up with in both tho!

i dont think i could ever play from ts4 bc i have so many sims that i have major attachment too. plus i love your work !

Tony

I doubt I'll move on from any of the games I'm currently playing since the cost of graphics cards and RAM are through the roof, and will be for the foreseeable future. So I'm sticking with TS4.

Lho'a

its kind of hard to say if i would switch or not because its all just been rumors and there hasn't been any indication that a new game would even essentially be better than the sims 4. i suppose at this point, with all the money ive already spent on the expansions and packs, id still stick to sims 4

Despite its issues, I've really come to appreciate TS4, and that's in no small part to creators like you! I don't expect there to be feature parity between TS4 and whatever comes next until many inevitable expansions are released, so I for one look forward to more TS4 creations from you :)
