Female Body Hair

This female body hair was designed to match the aesthetic of my current male body hair.
The body hair includes fifteen pubic hair styles, three arm hair styles and three leg hair styles. The arm and leg hair match the male options, both for continuity and equality, but have been adjusted to fit the UV layout of a female sim's body.
If you own the High School Years pack which allows for hair growth, you'll find that the arm and leg hair styles are enabled for growth. The first three pubic options in CAS are also enabled for growth.
All arm hair designs have armpit hair included by default.
The body hair is available for female sims with either a feminine or masculine frame. Because of the differences in UV layouts, the hair is not available to male sims of either frame. I plan to make body hair for the 'opposite' gender (female pubic hair for male sims, male pubic/chest hair for female sims) as part of a future update.
INSTALLATION NOTES:
The game's vanilla randomization for female body hair causes the orange swatch to be selected by default. This can cause female sims to show up with orange body hair regardless of their head hair color. For this reason, I've created two versions of the female body hair:

Contains all body hair designs. Natural pubic hair designs are enabled for random sims. Arm hair, leg hair, and unique pubic hair designs (heart, strip, triangle) are disabled for random sims.
simdulgence_BodyHair_Female_NoRandom
Contains all body hair designs. All body hair is disabled for random sims.
You can only install ONE version of the body hair. Choose which one you want from the descriptions above and download the corresponding file.
PLEASE NOTE: None of the files enable random arm and leg hair for female sims. I'm not trying to perpetuate unrealistic beauty standards or suggest women shouldn't have body hair! I based my decision on feedback I've received over time.
CHANGELOG:
2026-01-28: Updated the WW Body Hair Selector to include all available body hair styles in this post. Note: I had to change the name of two of the existing styles - Small and Standard become Wavy Small and Wavy Medium, respectively - so this might cause sims who had these styles applied via the WW menu to no longer have hair. I try not to change names if I can avoid it, but unfortunately they had to be changed for consistency with the other, newer designs; my apologies for any aggravation this might cause!
2026-01-21: I've added six new pubic hair designs. There's a brand new finer style of hair with four levels of coverage: small, medium, large, larger (a size designed to come out beyond the edges of skimpier underwear/swim bottoms). I've also added the new larger coverage level to the existing wavy/coiled designs. Now each of the three distinct styles - wavy, coiled, and fine - have four different coverage levels available.
I've also improved the quality of the textures for a number of the existing hairs; several designs had very strong highlights in the middle of the hair (especially noticeable on lighter swatches). The improvements included painting new detail to make the highlights appear consistently spread across the hair, and hopefully improves the overall appearance.
2025-01-05: I've added four new pubic hair designs: 1) One style which builds off the existing small/medium natural styles, but covers more of the groin. This new large style is enabled as the third level of the official TS4 hair growth system. 2) Three styles which were designed with curled/coiled hair specifically with Black sims in mind; these three styles are also available in small/medium/large sizes.
Preview pictures of all four styles are available at the top of the post. Both the main file and NoRandom addon have been updated with the new designs.
2024-07-22: My male body hair designs are now available to female sims with a masculine frame; this update changes the CAS order of female body hair so the male and female styles are grouped separately rather than mixed together. If you're using my female body hair on a female sim with a fem frame, nothing in CAS should look any different. Update available for the main body hair AND the NoRandom addon.
2024-02-08: Added an optional file to add the body hair to WW's pubic hair selector in game. This allows you to add a body hair in Live mode. The add-on currently contains the "natural" colors available in WW; I may add the other colors in a future update, depending on other projects and user demand.
2023-11-19: Added a NoRandom version of the body hair (see installation notes above).
2023-11-05: Enabled the natural pubic hair designs for random, so they'll show up on random feminine-framed sims. Arm hair, leg hair, and unique shaved pubic designs (heart, strip, triangle) are still disabled for random sims.

Hey! I am, yes - I was just looking at some of it earlier today. It's something that I really want to get right and involves some anatomy that I'm not as intimately familiar with, so there are some unique challenges to tackle along the way. But it's definitely still being worked on!

Just wanted to say the new update is beautiful. The larger size is appreciated, and I really like the new hair texture. More variety was needed. The lighter swatches feel much more usable than they were before. Thank you.

First at all, thank you. Can I use this mod at the same time with the female override mod? Suggestion: I think that some girls have back hair, so I think that you can include a little back hair with ass female hair. To be more natural

For the armpit hair that had been my suggestion, yes — remove the tier 3 arm hair, bump tier 1 to 2, tier 2 to 3, and have tier 1 be armpit hair only. It’s nice for storytelling IMO to have sims with armpit hair but no lower arm hair.

Hmm, you know what, that's not a bad idea - I usually err on the side of caution with "allowed for random", but I was mostly thinking about arm/leg hair when I made the decision. I doubt that randomized pubic hair on female sims would draw much complaint. I might still leave the unique shapes (heart, triangle, strip) as they are now, because they're not natural growth patterns. I imagine more players would want to put those on sims as a specific choice, rather than having them appear on random sims where it feels wrong. Re: the armpit hair - I assume you're asking about removing one of the higher growth levels to replace L1 with just armpit hair? The game only allows for three growth levels beyond 'bare'. I suppose I could see changing female options to L1 armpit, L2 light, L3 middle and leaving the current max level design out of the growth system. It won't match male sims, but may more closely mimic real world biology?

Thank you! First impressions are great. Could the chest hair be enabled for random by default, perhaps? It seems more realistic and representative to have female pubic hair by default. Seems like a nice compromise given the arm and leg hair would still be disabled for random. Suggestion: could level 1 arm hair growth be only armpit hair? (one notch hairier than clean shaven, I mean)
