WIP Preview: Werewolf Anatomy
🕑 Added 2024-06-17 19:11:51 +0000 UTCI don't share previews of my WIP progress as often as I probably should, so here's a sneak peek at some content I've been hard at work on recently: werewolf penises!
First, a warning: This is a work in progress. Anything you see is subject to change.
There have been a bunch of of technical hurdles that have made this harder to tackle than I hoped it would be, but I'm pleased with how it's progressing enough to share a preview with you. I know there might be questions or notes, so I'd like to offer a rundown of some key things to know:
1) This is not the only hard penis design (just the one that I'm ready to share). I do plan to include a more animal-esque shaft/glans.
2) There will be soft penis options. Because WW doesn't allow you to pick a soft werewolf penis, soft options will have to be overrides, which means you'll only be able to pick one soft style for your game. You won't have to install the override, but if you do, all male werewolves will have a penis when unclothed.
3) The werewolf pelt options in game will control the default color of the penis. I've started editing the pelt patterns to make sure color is applied correctly across the genitals. There's a preview picture showing an edited vs unedited pelt to show what you'd see if I didn't edit the pelts.
4) You can paint onto the penis just like the rest of the body. It'll probably prove difficult due to angles in CAS, but the option is there. Just make it look nicer than my preview paint job!
5) There will be optional color overlays tied to the nose swatches. Because werewolves don't have access to other skin details, I can't add color overlays the way I did for the base SimplePenis.
The werewolf penises are built on the SimplePenis 2.0 base, so they include the bending and shape improvements. I'm excited to complete them and get them out to everyone to play with in their game!

It would be awesome if mottled or striped coats made the penis mottled or spotted to match! And have you given any thought to female werewolves? I really like dimorphism, personally; perhaps 6 nipple chests for female werewolves and 2 nipples for males? Or maybe lady werewolves just have bigger nipples than male werewolves, that seems like it would work better with werewolf clothing.

For me I could take the colours and make them work the same way the human ones do as I have a unlocker but yea the nose colour is a good fallback, though I'll see what the Penis looks like without it. (usually I just had the tip coloured in my game. rather than the entire shaft though lol)

Sorry, I missed this comment! The color overlays that are attached to the eye/nose/paw textures will be optional, so the penises themselves can still be used and won't cause a conflict with your other mod. I wish there was a way to attach the colors to the penises themselves, but there are some technical issues that prevent that. I'm glad you like the look of them though!

This Looks good and I am Very Excited, I am just concerned about texture-compatibility issues since I run a mod that replaces the Eye/Nose/Mouth/Pawpad textures, otherwise...I want these models like yesterday they are so good

oh, I was tired when I wrote this originally, he did say there would be more designs, I re-read it, but yea. it's unfortunate that we currently have to resort to "Default Replacements" being the Only option, because they impede the Diversity available to us when making sims

I would like to see the animal-like offering. I know another author has theirs, but I'm just so damn partial to your work. I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

This is great! Nice work as always. I would love to see a more animal version of the penis (something that looks more like a dog) — as an option/alternative. Could make for interesting story building!
