🕑 Added 2023-10-14 20:40:04 +0000 UTCThis is an update to my existing SimpleGens penises to (hopefully) fix an issue with penis outfits in Live mode.
I've had some reports that choosing a penis in CAS and then entering Live mode causes the sim to display the default WickedWhims penis rather than the chosen SimpleGens option. After some investigation, I think I've solved the problem.
If you're not a player who creates outfits with penises in CAS, this update won't change much about your gameplay.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY:
- Penises you've chosen in the WW Body Selector are unaffected.
- Newly-created sims in CAS work as expected.
- Existing sims who are wearing a SimpleGens penis that you chose in CAS should look exactly the same. However, if you edit the sim again in CAS, they may appear to not have a bottom clothing option selected. You will need to manually click on the penis you want them to wear again.
Your sims who are already wearing a penis may still look correct. Existing penises haven't been removed, just hidden in CAS and replaced with a new entry that avoids the error. If the game does replace a penis in your sim's outfit, take the sim into CAS and select the penis you want them to wear.
AGAIN: This update should NOT affect penises that you have selected with the WW Body Selector. Penises in CAS are essentially just clothing. You will still need to use the Body Selector if you want your sim to show a specific body part when using any other WickedWhims functions.
All penises have been updated, including: male, female, unique designs and add-ons.
None of my other body part mods seem to have this problem. If you experience the issue I described with vaginas/breasts/chests, please let me know.
Also, just to be clear - this update is unrelated to the CAS simplification I asked about in my poll a few days ago. That will be part of a separate update to the SimpleGens.

Hello! I have a problem that I can't solve. The error occurs with all SimplePenisFemale models after 2021. If I put it on a fatter person, soft uncut penises appear distorted in CAS and in the game. Maybe the problem is in the vertex color or the weight, I don't know, unfortunately I didn't manage to import the modified blend file into the package without spoiling it. S4S always sets the vertices without weight to 1, and of course not to the Pelvis, but to the left leg.

Sorry for the late reply - thanks for this info! With my hiatuses from modding, I haven't spent much time playing with the piercing mod to test it. I had some reports that it wasn't working and assumed it had broken somewhere along the way. This is good to know!

Depends on which version of the piercings you're using. There was a script mod I released for piercings, and that would not be affected by this update in any negative way, but I was also under the impression that it no longer works at all (and I will need to find a solution for it). I previously had a version of the piercings that didn't use a script mod, and that isn't included in this update. If you're using that version, those pierced penises should still appear correctly in the Body Selector, but it would need an update if you're adding a pierced penis in CAS as an outfit. I didn't update that because that version of the piercings was pretty much discontinued when I launched the script mod and I don't know how many, if any, players are using that older style of piercing. If you're using the old version, let me know and I'll try to get an update out for it.
