Default Body Hair Overrides
🕑 Added 2023-04-16 14:47:32 +0000 UTCI've been meaning to make a mod like this for my own game, but after being asked about it recently by a patron I figured it was a good time to get off my butt and put one together.
When the game added body hair, they made it inclusive - available for female and male sims. Great idea! What isn't great is they made one CAS hair resource for both sexes, so some pretty extreme body hair will show up randomly on female sims. This mod aims to fix the issue.
There are TWO package files. You can use one, or both at the same time.
simdulgence_BodyHair_DefaultMALE:
- Restricts body hair to masc-frame sims
- Enables randomization of all body hair for masc-frame sims
simdulgence_BodyHair_DefaultFEMALE:
- Adds standalone body hair for fem-frame sims
- Does not enable randomization of body hair for fem-frame sims
- Does not affect masc-frame sims
NOTES:
1) I applaud the game's inclusivity, and I'm in no way shaming women for having body hair - most people have it!
2) These overrides will add the CC wrench icon to the game's body hair. Nothing I can do about that, sorry.
3) These files won't *add* body hair to your game. You need to have both the the base game body hair patch and the High School Years pack for all hair to show up.
I know my hiatus means I'm a bit behind, and there may be other similar mods that correct the same thing. Since I needed to make one for my own use, I figured I would share this for anyone else in need. I'm also at work on some brand-new body hair designs that I'm excited to show you!

Thank you for this. As I saw someone say on discord, women can have chest hair but not the full carpet of virility. LOL
