Early Access: RealGens Rig Update
🕑 Added 2022-06-08 15:16:00 +0000 UTCOkay, this took more work than the SimpleGens update from yesterday - I forgot just how cumbersome I made the old RealGens system. Guess that's why I changed to SimpleGens!
If you're not already aware, the latest update to WickedWhims brings an update to the rig (the skeleton that sims rely on to move around), which means my penis sets also need an update.
A FEW QUICK NOTES:
1) This update is for the RealGens system. If you don't use RealGens in your game anymore, you don't need this update.
2) No female RealGens penises were affected by the rig update. The updated files in this post only pertain to male penises.
3) There are FOUR zip files in this post, but you only need to download ONE zip file. Pick which zip is right for you based on the descriptions below.

If you're not sure which file you need, you should be able to tell by comparing package file names to the files in your game. Those filenames haven't changed since my last RealGens update.
REMEMBER, DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL ONLY ONE ZIP FILE!

no worries! take all the time you need :) after playing around with the new simplegens, i actually really like them a lot! i might add the exclusives to the realgen size just for variety, but i think i'm okay with a default being simplegen now. everything looks killer! thank you for all your hard work!

Sorry for the delayed reply, real life has been busy for a few days :) Re: a default. If you're talking about a CAS default, yes, you can use RealGens. If you have both RG and SG in your game, you just need to make sure the RG files come first in your mods folder (it might require changing the filename to make sure that happens). Do you need a CAS default RealGens file? I don't think I included one in these zips but I can probably dig one up if needed. Re: the exclusives, I've upgraded almost all of them to the SimpleGens system. The old ones should still work, but SimpleGens is (in my opinion) a better version of them.

can we still use the realgens as a default? o: (oh, and for the exclusives... are those included or are they gone for the time being, as in, don't go download them now?)

Weird, I can't duplicate this behavior in my game. The RG Plus XXL C looks to be the same size as the SG XL. It definitely doesn't look like a "needle dick" to me. I havn't tried all of them, but the "needle dick" appearance on my sim happened when i used RealGensPlus XX Large C. That was my fav. I had to settle for SimpleGens XLarge, which for me was always smaller than XX Large C, but now is larger than the "needle"

Yes, that sounds right! The only file you need in your game is the SimpleGens base because it should contain everything you need.

Hmmm yes it helped, I removed all RG files (base mod + genderunlock + all penis types) from my mod file. Installed the unique SG file and it seems to work correctly. Am I fine now ? There's no other files needed for SG right ? Thanks for your work and help

Glad it sounds like you got your issue sorted out! Re: updating all penises - if you're talking about the rig update, then all penises should be working with the new rig to my knowledge.

Nope, not normal - I'll double check, but they seemed to be the same size as usual when I was editing the files. All sizes should be the same as they were before this update. Just to check, are you talking about the RealGens XXL, or the RealGens Plus XXL? Just so I know which one you're seeing an issue with.

Sorry for any confusion! When I launched RG, I had a texture that covered the butt and groin - this is the "full texture". I later edited it down to remove the butt texture, and minimized the groin texture, to make it work better with CC textures. That's the CC version. Does that help? Let me know if not!

Nevermind I fixed just had remove all my simdulgence penis files and reinstall the updated versions. Sorry about that, LOL I was a bit of an idiot. ;) But my question about are all your penises going to get updated for the new WW update

I just downloaded the latest version of RealGenPenis and my sims penises are still deformed/stretched.

I just installed simdulgence_RealGensPenis_20220608_Merged_CC.zip, and I was expecting to see the old XXLarge Penis size on my sim, but the penis is much smaller and skinnier than before. Is this normal (what we're going to have to live with now)?

Here's a brief rundown: 1) None of my content should be installed as a zip file. You have to unzip the file and move the unzipped contents into your /Mod directory. 2) The RealGens system is outdated, and this update is a necessary fix for players who continue to use it. If this is your first exposure to my mods, I would recommend using my SimpleGens system instead (https://www.patreon.com/posts/early-access-67473193). 3) If you do use RealGens, ANY of the four zip files in this post contain the "base mod". There are four variants of the mod, and you should install only one. You can use my RealGens or SimpleGens on their own, if you only want to make a "naked" outfit with a penis in CAS. If you want the penises to function in game as anatomy, you'll need to use the WickedWhims mod (which adds things like nudity and selectable body parts). Does this help? If you need more details, let me know and I'll write up something else. π

I'm completely new to this mod, I think that you're doing a great job but I really don't get how do we proceed to install it ? All I see is updates but where is the base mod + CC and which updates should be added to make it work ? Unless downloading an update is enough to start with ? I don't understand if your updates just add files to ur base files or if your updates contain full files for the mod to work. So I tried to find a path by myself I installed the "simdulgence_RealGensPenis_20220608_Merged_CC.zip" but penis remains black
