SimpleChests Update: RealChest Styles Added
🕑 Added 2021-05-28 12:07:05 +0000 UTCThis update re-introduces my original RealChest shapes to the SimpleChests. Each unique shape has been given the SimpleChest Standard nipple texture and mesh.
The comparison picture above shows the Standard vs the new shapes, all on the same sim at average weight/muscle.
When I do conversions like this, I try not to change too much unnecessarily. The Toned shape has no changes (outside of the nipples), but I did make slight texture changes to the Beefy and Bulky shapes to improve blending with the default skin.
I wasn't entirely happy with the original Slender shape, though, so I created a new design from scratch to achieve the look I was after. It's the most subtle shape in terms of uniqueness, with most of its difference in the pec area. Although it's designed for slim-to-average sims, I think it looks good on sims at almost any weight or musculature.
As with the older versions, the arms remain pretty much unchanged. I do this purposefully so a sim's arms look consistent when shirtless or clothed in t-shirts, polos, tanks, etc.
All designs are available in CAS (under Sleepwear/Swimwear, under the Swimsuits subcategory) or via the WickedWhims Body Selector.
NOTES:
The Base chest file, the No Texture add-on, and the Texture Overlays have all been updated and are included in the zip. No other chest files are in need of an update.

Ah, sorry, I was thinking about the Standard nipple, not about the Protruding/Inverted. I didn't add the other nipple options to the new shapes because suddenly it would turn a few shapes into a lot of shapes - every chest has to come with three nipple styles. That is how RealGens got more complicated than I wanted it to be. I am open to adding those nipples for the other shapes *IF* I don't add many other shapes. Right now there are five chests (including the default shape), so there would be 15 chests in CAS. That's pretty manageable - but if I made another 10 shapes, and each of those needed three nipple styles, then suddenly there's 45 chests in CAS/the Body Selector menu. That's a lot! Let me think about whether this is my full range of shapes, and maybe get some feedback from other users, and I'll see if this is something I want to change or not. Out of curiosity, did you mention toned/protruding because it's the chest/nipple combination you wanted most?

Well, in WW I can either select a real chest style or a simple chest (nipple) style, but not a combination of for example toned chest and protruding nipples. Or may I select simple chest by CAS and chest style by WW for example.

I'm a little confused - what do you mean by combine with the SimpleChest nipple styles? These are the old RealChest designs but they have been updated so they have the new SimpleChest nipples, both texture and shape. Is there something else you're trying to do with them that I can help with?

Thank you for re-introducing the RealChest Styles. Alas, I find no way to combine these styles with your SimpleChest (Nipple) Styles. No big problem, just an inconvenience. Enjoy your June break. Hope you'll have a good time with lots of sunshine & fun.

Can you tell me what kind of look you're trying to create that you don't get with the weight sliders in game? Maybe a picture reference? I'm not trying to sound rude (so I hope I don't), I'm genuinely trying to picture how this type of chest would look different to the default when you increase the weight slider. Knowing more of what you're looking for would be a big help!
