🕑 Added 2021-02-03 23:57:27 +0000 UTCI'm very proud of the RealGens content I created, but it became too complex for my liking. For a while, I've wanted to simplify it, to make it easier for players to use and for me to add to and update. So I streamlined it and produced SimpleGens.
What is SimpleGens?
A pared-down version of my TS4 penis which I hope combines quality and variety with a cleaner installation and less cluttered in-game options. This makes CAS easier to scroll through, and the WickedWhims Body Part Selector list is much easier to navigate with a smaller list of penises on it.
FEATURES & DETAILS:
1) 5 total penis sizes: XSmall, Small, Medium, Large and XLarge
2) 2 foreskin styles: Cut and Uncut
3) 1 minimal skin texture allows for greater flexibility in customizing your sims
4) Improved butt mesh for compatibility with custom skin textures
5) Better UV mapping, so penis colors no longer show up on legs
How do I find SimpleGens content in game?
The SimpleGens penises have black-and-white thumbnails, and new add-on content is marked with "SG" in the corner to help you identify which penis system it's for.
Will you update SimpleGens to include...
- More sizes: No. I think SimpleGens has a good variety of sizes as it is now.
- More testicle options: SimpleGens has one testicle shape, unlike the A/B/C RealGens format.
- More foreskin styles: I don't plan to include other foreskin styles (such as retracted) back to SimpleGens.
What if I prefer RealGens?
Hey, I'm flattered you like my work either way! I made some creative decisions based on user feedback and my observations, and I hope SimpleGens is an upgrade, but I totally get there might be reasons you want to keep using RealGens. Thankfully, SimpleGens and RealGens are completely compatible with each other. But you should be aware that other upgrades or optimizations - such as piercings, body hair fixes, etc - won't be applied to RealGens.
INSTALLATION NOTES:
Files included are separated by folder into required, recommended, and optional.
simdulgence_SimpleGensPenis_Base (REQUIRED)
Contains all base SimpleGens penises, a CAS default penis, and color overlays.
simdulgence_SimplePenis_AddonTones (RECOMMENDED)
Tone overlays that darken the penis to better match the shade of CC skins.
simdulgence_SimplePenis_AddonCage (OPTIONAL)
A chastity cage for your sims. Comes in one size, and is available to be selected in the WickedWhims Body Selector. Because cages restrict arousal, the soft and hard options will look the same. NOTE: For technical reasons the cage is the wrong color in CAS, but looks silver in Live mode.
simdulgence_SimplePenis_AddonWWSize (OPTIONAL)
An additional erect penis that matches the length of the default erect WickedWhims penis.

Sure! https://simfileshare.net/download/2468424/ This zip file contains 2 new CAS defaults, XLarge Cut and XLarge Uncut. Make sure you only install ONE of the versions. They will conflict with each other, and with the original SimpleGens CAS default (make sure to take that out and replace it with the XL default you prefer). Hope this helps!

I just change from RealGens to SimpleGens for most of my men. Now i want to know if we can get more CASdefaults of the SimpleGens to choose from? I confess the Xlarge is my favorite.

Sorry for the late reply! So what I wanted to do was add an overlay for veins, so you could mix and match the appearance you wanted. When I investigated, it didn't work how I wanted. The game didn't seem to like the overlay having a normal map, which is the method I used to create veins on the Shaun. Big disappointment to me! Now it might be that something has changed since I last looked (it was ages ago when I tried), or that I might be able to find another way to do it. But if it's still not possible, then I'd be able to add a 2D vein overlay but it wouldn't have exactly the same look as the Shaun. So, tl:dr, I'd like to add some kind of vein overlay or option if I can but there might be a game limitation that means the veins are just a texture and not quite as good as the Shaun. Fingers crossed!

Sorry for the late reply! I'm going to transfer the exclusives to the new set-up (changed UVs, etc) and then I'll continue to add some new exclusive shapes. Glad you liked them! :)

Thanks for letting me know! That's disappointing to hear so soon after an update... I'll see if there's anything I can do about it, but if Luumia's hair and my hair both work I might not be able to fix the WW hair situation. We'll see!

WickedWhims must have updated something, after you released this. Now, if you use ww body hair, the hair shows up halfway down the shaft. Luumia's body hair works fine, so it must just be ww.

http://www.simfileshare.net/download/2323483/, Circ scars are under Tattoo Lower Left Arm, and hairy balls under face paint and/or blush. *update* I’ll need to adjust the circ scars to the new uv, but the ball hair seems to still work fine.
The testicles are too big so I hope you make new tight testicles like the A and B variations. I think it's very good that there are fewer sizes and no thicker variants anymore. It was all too much and very confusing.

For my consistency sake, I’ve been saving the sizes I set for Sims in my notes, so if I ever have to go back I can re-apply. I call it “PP Stats” lol.

Good to see you back! I will definitely check this out. In your absence I created some custom circumcision and ball hair overlays, so I am curious if they will still work. Also I do look forward to the possibility of different testicle sizes.

I wish I'd been able to find a way to have Sims keep some kind of setting for their penises, but I think it would have hampered things unfortunately. As you say, though, progress isn't easy. Hope you enjoy the update! :)

Thanks for this update! Ah, I think the worst part of it though is that all current Sims who use a RealGens penis will need to have their settings changed when we remove RealGens from our game. Oh well. Progress never comes easy! 😉
