Fix for December 2020 Skintone Update
🕑 Added 2020-12-19 18:35:12 +0000 UTCSorry all, this took a bit longer than I expected (had to wait for some external programs I use to update as well as sort out some technical issues). This mod fixes the issue where sim anatomy turns black due to the December skintone update.
This is a big-ish file because it affects every skintone in the base game. It should be compatible with other body parts from other creators, provided they have used the same part of the sim texture map I have. It doesn't require you to use specific graphics settings; just drop the mod in your folder and play.
NOTE: This fix will add a CC wrench to every skintone swatch.
I know this bothers some players - me included - but due to some changes in TS4 image file formats, I seemingly can't get around this at the moment. I will fix this if it's ever possible.
INSTALLATION:
Add this file to your /Mods directory, as usual.

I'll be uploading an update to non-base game skintones as soon as I can.

Hi, I'm not sure what the dark spot you mean is. Can you explain or share a screenshot? I will be providing an update to this skintone file soon, so if there's a problem I can help with I'll gladly do so.

Hey, sorry for the late reply! Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry that you've had to use an old update and fix it yourself, but I plan on correcting this issue as soon as I can. I hope you had a happy holiday season :)

yea my black sims still get the dark spot

Thank you for the update! I just wanted to let you know that the latest skintone fix update however has a patchy yellowish hue on the forehead area. Mostly noticeable on warm skintone. It goes away when I remove the skintone fix. At the moment I'm using an older skintonefix that I fixed using Cmar skin tool so the simdulgence mod still works in my game. Just take your time and no pressure for you to update. Stay safe and happy holiday ❤️
