I like that you kept this so simple - everyone got a happy ending and there really isn't anything else explained beyond Bella being where she wants to be. I get the feeling that Brad would have been perfectly happy to stay as Brad, with Ilsa, if his career had worked out somehow, but it didn't and being Bella did work out both for a career and a romantic partner, and that was enough
