I think the ending is magnificent. I also appreciate that throughout the story, he maintained his role as a father and retained a sense of masculinity. In this genre, it’s common for the male character to undergo such rapid feminization that, before long, there’s no trace of the man left, and it just turns into a typical story about a girl. I like that this story avoided that.
